I remember my first major tournament back in 2004. The folks I trained with were better than me - in a serious match they would make mincemeat out of me. Seeing them go up against the local heroes was humbling - they got their butts handed to them. Then seeing those same heroes go up against the top players, the ones who flew in from Japan, and they look like helpless children. Seeing so many levels above me and finally understanding where the skill ceiling is in fighting games was an incredible experience for me.

First video I saw from you. I knew you were a great player, but I really respect how you can admire, breakdown and use Guilty Gear XX and have apparently done so for a while. It is something I have not heard about much from other top players in games, but I do get the idea of looking into other things or characters in order to take it back to your normal character/game and perform at a higher level.
