@@ag4allgood Maybe. I think for being good at growing an audience, you need charisma and awareness of what most people respond to. I've never posted on social media. The other channel is "Bookkeeping Expert" I contrast that channel and Brandon's skills with other social media authors who sort of lack awareness of why people abandon their content. I'm a business owner and Polite, Professional, Positive is a welcome thing in content authors. But it's not that common. Brandon has great macroecon information (the auto market in the U.S. affects almost everyone) but he has a sense of what people will respond favorably to, also. Good information. I used to drive cars until it was time to spike the title and walk away. Now they aren't even selling any new cars I'd want to buy. Keeping the ones I have, they all have around a 100K on them. I don't mind putting in a new engine or whatever later.

If your money is tight, 500 plus a month or 3K and done. That is not a hard decision.

The problem is that americans are earning the same amount of money since the 80's. New cars dont necessarily cost more than back then when you adjust for inflation through the years . The problem is wages have not kept up If we could afford them people would be buying 30-40k cars All the profits that the country produces from productivity goes to the ruling oligarchs here The middle class is disappearing because the rulers have been sucking the country dry and now the rulers are wondering where the middle class is that will buy all their products

Unfortunately politicians and media believe inflation is something you can control .. but it’s a descriptor of market interactions as demand rises from population growth for scarce resources

I bought a 2022 Mach-e Premium AWD Extended Range and Chevy Bolt EUV 2023 and we have no plans to buy new cars for at least five years. We still have a couple old trucks and a four door Jeep.

5k or less is exactly what everyone needs nowadays. No payments , just come up with the cash, get the title and drive off. Simple and to the point. 👌👌

You are 💯 on the money I purchased a 2011 Ram a 2014 Ram a 2017 Ram 2 brand new BMW motorcycles but during Covid I lost everything I was working at a car dealership and purchased a $2,500 Lincoln Aviator with no heat no ac and drove it for 4 years until I could save up enough to purchase a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee for $6,500 cash because my credit was ruined I no longer have a motorcycle and my boss just purchased another dealership he now owns 7 new and used car dealerships in our area but I can’t afford to buy a car from him lol

Pay 6 months of new car payments up front in one lump sum and get a used car payment free to drive for at least two years. For some people that is life changing.

20% down used to be the minimum to buy a car. Now they even roll the sales tax into the loan.

I can buy a. new vehicle but I refuse to pay these insane prices. They will have to come down a lot to convince me to buy because my 2015 vehicle runs perfectly.

I bought a 2014 Focus with 40k miles, drove it for 11 days, and transmission failed. Dealer didn't send in the extended warranty I bought and getting it fixed became a nightmare. I paid on an anchor sitting in my driveway for 13 months hoping to get money to fix. Lost my job and let it go back. I spend $800 on an e-bike and couldn't be happier!

We just bought our first car since 2003. We were looking at 2-3 year old off lease vehicles but ended up with a new one. We have good credit and got 2.9% dealer financing as opposed to the 6.8 or so we would have spent to finance a used car. It could have gone either way but the used cars in this category seemed high to me. My monthly payment is less than the used car would have been. BTW we are still driving the 04 Corolla as well.

I went and test drove a new Z Saturday. I loved it, but the bank wouldn’t finance it being 15k over msrp, and their financing was ~18% interest with 20k down. Just gonna buy another used accord or something. lol

The other great thing about a paid off car is that your don’t have to have full coverage car insurance. Car insurance is crazy as well.

I worked on a new and used car lot for about 3 years and the worst car we got in a trade was a Toyota. It had rotting fish under the back seat and trunk; they used it to go fishing. The car lot was near an Indian reservation. The car was in such bad shape, we just sent to the crusher.

I still drive my used 2012 CRV with 325k miles. My friends drive expensive trucks and always say get a new car. But they’re always broke. I drive cheap but always have money to spend. Although I only buy precious metals, especially gold coins. 👍 The recession is only gonna get worse.

I think some of these car dealerships have more cars and trucks than your seeing on their lots. 5-6 years ago I remember walking by an empty gated parking structure (at the time it was a path people would use to stretch their legs when we were working in the office) and it was filled with brand new Chevy trucks. And about a mile away was a Chevrolet Dealership and their entire lot was always filled with vehicles. So what you’re showing at these dealerships is probably 60% of what they really have.
