Today is Enzo Maresca's FIRST official day as Chelsea Football Club manager.
He has the next couple of weeks to get aquatinted with his players before jetting off to The States for our Pre Season Tour.

Sad reality is that I think all these players will eventually be sold. Only person who won’t be sold and has a good chance is Lavia- but this depends on his health. Everyone else will be used for profit, I’m really worried about Santos. At best, Santos will become Caicedo’s backup but how long until he will want to start regularly?? Squad politics might not even allow Santos to get much game time because despite being better than the likes of Gallagher, Gallagher will probably get more minutes as Caicedo’s backup. It’s important we sell these players like Gallagher, Chilwell and Sterling who are going to take minutes away from promising youngsters

Mudryk and Noni have massive upside this season. Enzo like to get his wingers 1v1s so Mudryk can run past his man while Noni dribbles by his. With Jackson's passing/holdup ability we could see this guys really cook this year with Palmer and Nkunku also in the middle could be scary for other teasm

While I agree with the approach...to get the winger 1-1, the midfield has to control the game.... allowing the pressure of the opposing team to create spaces like city does. I doubt our midfield is ready to play such games.... caicedo/lavia/Fernandez need to be very comfortable with the ball to play such a game

Every time Sanchez played the ball out from the back I was nervous I just didn’t have any confidence in him but maybe he can change that. My biggest concern for the upcoming season is Sanchez in goal. I think we will score goals and control games well enough, but my god, am i uncomfortable with Sanchez with the ball at his feet. He looks like he is trying to doquantum physics in his head, and so he struggles to pass effectively. Id also call into question his positioning, which for me is way off most of the time. I desperately want to see him sold. There are a lot of good keepers available out there, but he isn't one of them.

Robert Sanchez in goal may be Chelsea’s Achilles heel this upcoming season. His skills as a ball playing GK are overrated. Sanchez can be shaky as hell and makes poor decisions with the ball at times. Petrovic was good, not great, but Sanchez makes me nervous in goal.

How on earth will Gui start over Nico? Most underrated player last season was Jackson and it was solely because of the big chances he missed. Looking back he was instrumental to whatever we achieved last season. This season will be a much more better season for him and Chelsea. I will pick Petrovic all day in goal over Sanchez. The confidence is not there for me to have him in goal but things can change and people do step up. It's going to be a good season.
