May you please do a video on the DIAAS system for protein quality. There are several methodological flaws and I'd like to hear Doug's criticisms

there is a lot of theory , but in practice , did you ever saw huge raw vegan ? 'cooked' vegans can be huuuge easily eating ton of starches , fruits , and ton of clean proteins like legumes . it's easier to eat cooked veggies and legumes and get 60 grams of protein per meal , easy , tasty , everyone can do it . but eating 20 pounds of fruits and veggies raw per day , it's a struggle and bloating experience that is not pleasant . raw vegans that are not supplementing with stuff like Sunwarrior rice protein , or other refined protein powders , cannot be big or truly ripped , but they can be healthy .. and that's great . cooked vegans who are eating ton of rice and potatoes can be huge , but they will also sometimes be little bit overweight if they want to hit that 120 g per day mark of protein . vegans eating ton of legumes , and starches , and fruits , can easily get to 120 - 160 grams of protein , without eating too much calories . that's called Protein Leverage . less protein you eat , more calories you MUST eat . more protein you consume , less calories you will crave , tissues will be satisfied fast . But if you do it with animal protein , you are in problem with longevity and health .

Hi Ronee, start with the basics, which is that if you're hungry, eat more calories. That may also take care of the coldness and shakiness. To get best results, track your calories with Cronometer ;) Best, Frederik (social media)

@@FoodnSport Your body still feels cold even if you are full with raw food. It's the nature of food. Unlike animal meat which heats up your body system.

that was exactly what was happening to me, until I did a juice cleanse. After two weeks of feeling cold it stopped happening and my body realigned with its natural ability to thermo-regulate. I needed the detox to clean out the toxins and old waste matter. I hope that helps!

This is a diet for a chimpanzee. Our ancestors moved out of the trees and had a different evolutionary path. I used to eat an all raw diet but I learned a lot since then and no longer believe it is right for humans.

​@@MS45636 I would describe my current diet as a low oxalate version of a blue zone style diet. I still eat Fruit, Vegetables, Nuts, seeds, Honey but that only comprises 300 calories or 15% of the diet. I would say most of my calories come from cooked starch like oats, rice, corn, squash, plantain, beans, peas, lentils, and then 3 eggs per week, 3 servings fish per week, and 1-3 servings of meat per week. I'm still experimenting though. A sample day would like Breakfast = Oatmeal with dried prunes, honey, walnuts, cinammon, Lunch = Rice with steamed fish and steamed veggies (watercress and mushrooms), Snack = chickpeas or fruit, Dinner = 2 plantains or 2 ears of corn.

@@taintmueslix I don’t feel good if I don’t. My step dad also gets anemic if he doesn’t eat some red meat. People like Mikhaila Peterson are allergic to everything but meat. Unfortunately nature made it that way and if it were up to me I would rewrite the universe so animals and people for that matter did not have to die early or suffer needlessly.
