The Coelacanth version of Ghoti can be very strong and busted when you go off!! Granted I did that version of the deck I think when Ghoti first came around. Haven't lately since. But hey might be time to grind and rebuild.

I dont know what it is about ghoti but i just like watching it be played. Sending cards to graveyard, banishing cards, resummon cards to synchro, thinking about which monster to summon at which moment for the right effect, thinking ahead of what monsters you need to have ready to summon NEXT turn for interruptions. Just looks a lot of fun, at least for the person playing Ghoti :D

I like the idea of how ghoti works. Since they're fishes of the deep, it's visualized as deep sea creatures dragging their prey down into the deep while it has no effect on them and they will keep coming. Deep beyond itself gains power by swallowing those poor monsters. And suddenly those fishes becomes dragon warrior, crystal princess & wind rider 😂

I've been experimenting with adding Nemeses Corridor + TD Colossus to my Ghoti decks as it adds emergency banishment recovery (one of ghoti peices that may have failed for example); and, well, Colossus is nice to have around because it demands your opponents attention in most cases -- also it's a level 8 :) I also realized that Tidal [7] + Harpooner [4] = PEP [11] which pairs very nicely with cards like piri reis map and cosmic cyclone. So ive been playing with that as well. Coelacanth also works for this purpose so I'll have to test that as well. These new cards are fun :)

Since you’re having fun trailing new cards in ghoti, have you tried masked change 2? Can be used as a harpies feather duster on your opp turn by using any water to fusion into masked hero acid

Have you tried marincess bubble reef? Gains 600att every time a cards banished, you get to banish a card every stand by phase and draw one in return and if you don’t banish a ghoti, you can banish coral anemone and resummon her the next turn which leads to an easy worldsea board wipe (providing you don’t ghoti board wipe when interacting). Great vid.

there is a better deck list in my opinion, it involves the new lv 10 ice barrier synchro, it gives you 2 floodgates+ trishula this combo can be done in many different ways but this is the mainline sardine eff sunfish eff, revive sardine make it tuner make arianpos, banish psiic psiics banishes a sardine to ss itself (banish a tuner from hand if you have it), then add and banish a fish link into coral with psiics revive sunfish, make it a tuner to ss lancea ariapos effect to add an abyss shark, which can add lifeless (snopios at standby phase) or an extender, then make a bubble reef or bahamaut (for toad in the tcg) and end with bubblereef ypu get a draw, psiics, snopios, zep, a tuner, (possible omninegate) 2 floodgates, trishula, plus depending on what you banished for the combo, either an askaan/whale + deep beyond or double deep beyond if anyone is interested in a list lmk or just search for any ghoti videos that came recently i have been spamming them :3

Btw i never use sekka light spell ( cannot use spel/trap for the rest of duel ) , so use white rencanation continues spell first.. Then use sekka right ? Because if use sekka first , we cannot active spell for the rest of duel 🤔..

maybe for intermediate player, but whole gameplay is not that complicated, ppl should know this easily, the basic thing gameplay like go summon "Lifeless Leaffish" send "Shif, Fairy of the Ghoti" banish it from gy, and pass, otherwise could it be "combo"
