Hey, Chazm, I've got a question about your ball play. Why you are pressing E sometimes late (e.g. I would have pressed it at 3:01 and you pressed it at 3:05), would you consider that is an innaccuracy? I see that so often that I started doubt myself

probably saving it to escape, i usually do the same thing, i just save it for when im in trouble and really need that extra HP, doesn't get as much value using it at max HP

Because the shields are on a timer so you want to press them right as you're about to take damage, while also near enemies, to maximise potential uptime. If you press it when you're full HP and nobodys doing any threatening dps to you, you're just wasting your shields.

​@@jazay591 Thanks for the replies, as a plat enjoyer I always just press shields when there is a 3+ enemies and 9 seconds of a shields gives me a lot of opportunities to strike again (especially with piledriver buff now). So that's why I don't understand some plays

@@duraemakye1384he’s asking because ball gets more shields depending on the enemies around. He had a chance to cover his health, collect 3 enemies worth of shield(over 1k health), and get a slam where you can stay in the fight for ever. That’s best with teammates around usually. If not, you’d rather opt it to save yourself. In this case, he popped it when less people were around to guarantee safety but it mostly looked like he misjudged the situation and panic shielded.

she did not save him, she tpd to him, (when he had 300hp, + shields cooldown up) cleansed him on his way out which didn’t matter, then died.

@Alex Aramayo It's a GM lobby, so I'm sure Kiriko is normally more careful. I think she jumped in because Chazm said "healers healers healers" and was about to die. She even pinged him to let him know she was there to support him, but then he left her lol. Half a minute later, he died in the same stairway. I'm no GM, but I don't know how a healer is supposed to get to him without dying when he plays in there.

Pick whatever fits with the rest of your team comp, don't pick around ball, ball is not really a "team player" if you know what i mean, he's off doing his own thing and has more than enough utility and resources to get in and out on his own, if he really needs the healing, he will go find megas, or come to you, otherwise, he will leave you to die and will not feel any remorse. but if i had to choose, as a ball player i find that zen synergizes well with ball, since you can heal ball without having to be anywhere near him with healing orb, as well as help secure kills with discord orb when ball goes for big slam plays personal opinion i dislike seeing lucio when im playing ball since he can mess up my timing for wall jump slams and such, other ballers might disagree

Got a question. Is it more damage to consistently shoot a squishy or to shoot melee? I think obviously if you hit all your shots then shooting works but the more consistent way is to shoot melee or?

Melee gives you more time to adjust your aim between shots and let's you output more dmg since you'll most likely have to roll away once you have to reload, also is good finisher

It’s called wall jumping, it’s a common ball tech. You roll at a wall and right before you make contact let go of the forward key and press ‘s’ and jump at same time. Hope this helps

I've always found zen difficult to play against in OW2 as puts a lot of pressure on you with discord, plus he survives a ball dive if he receives a tiny bit of a healing (unless you have flanky bois with you). Brig just amplifies it, esp. with the new 25 instant heal per pack.
