Easy fix for drinking water for the pigs. Get a large plastic trash barrel with a lid. Burry two 4x4 poles in the ground and attach the barrel to them. Get several nipples for the barrels, fill the Barrell with water. You can easily set up a metal roof over the barrel and have the water come off the roof and direct it into the barrel by way of drain pipes. SEEN OTHER FARMERS DO THIS AND WORKED GREAT. (Bet the pigs would enjoy fresh drinking water) Just an idea‼️👍👍. Vinny 🇺🇸

This is what I meant. When you become self sufficient. you must rise early. work hard and late. Now. people use the term " homesteading' We call it FREEDOM. But, anyway you slice this bread.. It tastes so good.

Danny. Hook up a plastic barrel with nipples for the hogs. We live in the world of no water ever. A 55 gallon food grade barrel with nipples is THE way to go. Stick a heater in it if it gets too cold.

I remember back whenever we lived on the farm in Arkansas, my Step Dad got up early every morning to feed and water the animals. It is a life style. I am so glad that you show these videos about the truth of what goes on daily. You don't sugar coat it like some do. You and Wanda are in my prayers. God Bless Y'all.

Danny, you said your pigs dump their water... mine did too until I cut off a 55 gal plastic barrel at a little more than 1/2 deep. I buried it 12-18 ' in the ground and kept it full... that solved the water problem, but 3-4 times a year I had to clean it out...that was a bit of a chore but over all a win.

Your greens look great! I love your tractor. I have an old David Bradley, but, I had Sepsis and can't do much with it. But, it has a front rotary mower, and I can walk quite a bit behind it for exercise. Very healthy cattle. You take good care of your stock. Shows you have respect for God's creatures and the land.

yep...if it looks like it's drudgery, it's because I try to get out to feed the animals (in wind, rain, snow & ice...and not fall down in muck & poo) before I have my coffee in the morning...and it ain't pretty folks! lol After I've had my morning coffee, then I'll look a bit more chipper & music might be going while I work. I love that you still have green things growing :) gotta get me a greenhouse for Ohio winters!
