This is what I saw in Nandigram, Bengal during Lok Sabha 2024 polling | Tamal Saha

Nandigram has always been a prestige battle for TMC. But political dynamics changed after Suvendu Adhikari switched sides and joined BJP in 2020. Suvendu Adhikari had even defeated Mamata Banerjee in this Nandigram assembly constituency during Bengal elections 2021. Part of Tamluk Lok Sabha constituency, Nandigram is facing a different battle with Mamata Banerjee and Suvendu Adhikari on two different sides of the fence. It’s the same Nandigram movement that has catapulted Mamata Banerjee to power and thus the Tamluk seat can decide how future of politics may look like in Bengal in days to come. Lots happened during the polling day here, we captured a few.
