Unsolicited advice re: ticket to ride. I typically like to move the score markers as train cards are played. It makes the endgame scoring easier as you only have to determine longest track and add points for destination cards. Hope everyone enjoyed it! Ticket to ride became one of my favorite board games in the last few years.

So strange seeing people not wearing masks somewhere else. Over here things were getting good but a new cluster a while ago caused the place to lockdown again. I hope one day we'll all be able to live normally again.

Where I work nowadays, it ranges from half wearing masks to almost no one with masks in the store (customers) depending on the time of day

@@SquidofBaconator Man, that must feel weird. For me everyone is still wearing masks and rarely anyone takes them off unless they're eating or exercising. Restrictions were tightened for a while but vaccines are getting out to more of the younger population.

If this had been a week and a half earlier I very easily would have ran into you guys on the beach. Stayed near the point at cherry grove for a week in mid may. Saw a ton of the jelly fish. Also swam the channel at the point during low tide. Pretty good week.

Tip for Ticket To Ride: Get Europe and Nordic Countries. Europe adds rules and a station mechanic to the game which gives a lot more tactical options and evens out the luck to strategy ratio. Nordic Countries is the 2-3 player variant that yourself and Mal can play and get people into the game. I own the four main Ticket To Rides and the seven map packs, it may be one of my favourite games 😛

Ticket to Ride sounds like a real-life version of Mornington Crescent from the British radio show I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue. I'm interested. Also, so happy that you guys were able to visit the beach again. Going out and about again has truly made the last few months much more pleasant and inspiring for me and I hope you all feel the same way. Here's hoping that we take baby steps to a better new normal together.

@@TrashyBag I just realized if Xenoblade 3 gets revealed at E3 this year, this will be the third time Xenoblade content has been announced during his lp of Xenoblade 2 the first was shulk in smash 4 during his Xenoblade 1 lp, and the 2nd was Pyra and Mythra in smash ultimate during his Xenoblade 2 Lp. ( which is on hiatus)

What's really odd is how Stephen was making breakfast burritos and starting a week ago, I started making breakfast burritos in lieu of my usual default of toast/bagel with peanut butter. Ticket to Ride is a really fun game. I like playing it with my family. However, I did find it odd that you guys counted your points from your claimed routes when the game was finished. I thought you were supposed to keep track of that during the game. I guess you could play that way if you don't want to know who's winning, though.
