Some Whiskey that is always at the bar at my house. That McDonalds drink is a medium over here are large drink is 32oz. Some gas stations sell a 64oz .

Flew into Dublin, had a car rental and drove from Dublin to Gallway, all places in between and back for a week. Ireland was the most beautiful and peaceful place we've ever seen or been. Honestly felt like heaven on Earth. We did not want to leave and have been wanting to come back for the last 9 years. Money and wife's bad back has unfortunately kept us from a return trip.

It is wonderful to see your local towns. My grandfather was an Irish immigrant to the US around the 1880s. When he came to the US, he (or someone) shortened his Sir Name from Beamish to Beam. My mother had me when she was 45 and her mother had her when she was 45 so both my grandparents on my mom's side were dead before I was born so I never got to meet them. Thank you. I really enjoy this type of video and you did fine. My only suggestion would be to pan a little more slowly so we can get a really good look at the places, although I could just slow the video down and may do so later. It looked great and I wouldn't mind living there. Enjoy being where you are, there isn't really any place that has it all with no problems. Hope you can do this again. The shopping center/mall looks like a few not really far from here, but many business have left them, first due to the internet and then to world wide illness, when we were supposed to stay home. Actually a fair amount of what you showed could be found in the smaller towns of my state of Michigan. Especially the sea, boats, seagulls and older looking buildings you would find along the lakes. Our lakes are big enough to make it look like an ocean or sea and help to make it cloudy a lot here. The small town that I grew up near had all of 500 residents, although the schools (K-12) currently has close to 750 students and there is a small grocery store with mostly just the basics, 2 gas stations, a restaurateur/bar, public library, fencing company and an auto repair place.

I know every KZbin blogger visiting the U.S. shows "American Stores are Huge", and show Walmart and Costco Stores, but they are the exception. Most stores in the U.S. are about the same size as the one you visited there in Ireland. The Mall, or Shopping Center, was also about the same size and style. Nice boat marina. I think we may be more alike than you might be led to believe. You can't have Texas BBQ, Georgian peach cobbler, Maine Lobster, or Key West's Key Lime Pie, every day. For one, you would get tired of it, two, It's too expensive to have every day, and three, they are too damn far apart. Every town everywhere has that one restaurant or touristy thing that sets them apart, but that said, we are all the same people.

The beach front looks "hollywood perfect", for New England coastal hamlets from the 1980s'. Enclosed shopping malls(instead of shopping centers or strip malls) are basically dying in the US. The grocery had mad "Kroger's" vibes(at least Kroger's in urban regions of Texas), without options, of course. The bar ightclub strip is a common thing in larger US urban areas; sometimes worth it, sometimes not. The biggest real difference in where you are now, to somewhere the same in the US, is that here... it would be a horrid, overly plastic, tourist trap consumerist hell hole. I would bet serious money, that a noticeable percentage of your American fans, would trade places with your hometown without so much as a second thought. For better or worse, the US DOES have a well earned rep\stereotype of being overly commercialized, consumer driven, super capitalist focused. For example, there was a joke about Dallas in the 1990s'... "Dallas is a whore. You can do anything you want, anytime, any way. It's just gonna cost ya..."

it's 40 degrees centigrade over here btw!! Air Conditioning is a requirement here, i have it on full blast. No guilt because about 70% of our power is zero emission right now. 🙂 I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area, but my area, 56 miles south of the city of San Francisco, is shielded from the seabreeze that hits San Francisco because of the Santa Cruz Mountains. So it gets hotter than SF during the day, but once the sun goes down, we feel the seabreeze from the San Francisco Bay and it cools down quite a bit, should go down to 18 centigrade tonight. San Francisco is only 25 right now. 🙂

The fries seem about normal but not filled up, the drink is smaller for sure, and no refills! I see the beauty in your country Adam, be proud.... and perhaps your luck is meeting great friends on YT and Twitch! That is for you to decide! I enjoyed all of this Vlog, just so you know someone did! If my reply did not say that already! Woooooooooo

I know you say your town and surrounding areas are kinda bland compared to the States, but I have to disagree. The sheer fact that you live in a place like Ireland that has such ancient and beautiful history makes it incredible to me. That bar is older then the existence of my country! Some parts of the States may be beautiful and have exciting things to do, but holy shit I couldn't even fathom what it would feel like to walk on a beach that someone else walked on thousands of years ago. While they were making old druid brews and shit!
