Aye! I did something similar a while back using Magma Drake weapons and spells Vs Bayle. It was exhilarating. Great fight, Drake Brother! I didn’t know that Elden Rings step dodges have immunity frames. Very good to know.

@@SuperDragonBlader backsteps don't have any i-frames by default so It's normal that you can't hit a Dodge using them. Those two new dlc talismans grants i-frames to backsteps but they increase damage taken (by 15% and 45% respectively)

My friend, these are great however it leaves a hole where the Dread of Danger is to be. If there is a way of min/maxing the impressiveness of the boss fights with calculated hits of their own, I think that could elevate the feat as a cinematic experience.

Amazing fight but I think Bayle has way more to learn than people think. During some combos you can actually dash to his open leg and do more damage while completly avoiding the explosion. They didn’t give him two weakspots for no reason

@@schadowsshade7870 yeah I used to do that dodge in my previous fights against him but since you have to unlock to do that It kinda ruins the spectacularity of the fight a bit, in this one I wanted to do as much justice as possible to his moveset by showing off all his attacks well. But yes, especially to keep poise damage high it is certainly a useful expedient
