Mod creator is called Vanbuinen and he likes to troll streamers when they play his mods and changes of nerfes everything you find that has op potential in his mod and he did that to stremer called lProd when he did ascended playthroughs of all souls games. Ds 1 was difficult but the mos made uou op too. Ds 2 was much worse in the past and most weapons didn't even work and ds 3 had all main cinder bosses and soul of cinder so yea most of them are not fun to play as content and is extremely unfair.

The Ascended mods are super mixed bags. In DS1 I super enjoyed it, but 2 and especially 3 just went to far off to be good. It just turns into "everything 1 shots you , gives you every ailment in the game, and lol enemy and boss spam". The older challenge runs like broken sword are so memorable because they needed the player to have enough knowledge and skill to fight every boss for longer periods of time and manage stamina, but they are not super tedious and long like "lvl 1 no hit blindfolded while someone squeezes my nipples" ones or crazy mods like this. I would love sort of like a "Ascended light" where you get the different perks on weapons and armor and super high damage numbers, but balanced and not just super spammy and trolly towards the second half. And btw: Thanks for all the laughs Lenny!

When Prod played this mod a few years back the final boss were all three final bosses from each DLC, but Sinth would always glitch out of the map somehow and his part of hp bar wouldnt dissapear essentially making it impossible to actualy finish the mod since the boss room was empty but the hp bar was not. Glad they fixed that issue XD Also the DLC's themselves are pretty brutal on this mod and Elana had to be reworked a lot since she was way too difficult. Great video, had fun, didnt even fall asleep while watching.

Ascended Elden Ring is actually *bearable*, but still ungodly hard. I didnt despise my time with it, and thats the lowest possible bar i can imagine. This looked like a nightmare and you have my respect for seeing it through. And since I'm here, might as well tell you that I've loved watching the things you put out for a long time now. Honestly, every era (that I've seen) of Lenny's humor has ALWAYS made me laugh. I started watching your videos because of the absurd difficulty of the challenge runs, but kept watching because you are very entertaining. The vibes you bring are unlike any others I've seen. Also your videos inspired me to do an all bosses broken straightsword run in DS3, which I called the "Lennymode" run. It was genuinely a blast. As an unironic Dark Souls 2 fan, I'll be honest, Lenny's bit about the Harvest Valley cube room made me kinda appreciate it. Imagining being some fresh hire at FromSoft tossed into the B-team and given the chance to design part of an area (and making a big repeating-texture cube) reminds me of being a kid and messing around in Hammer editor and the sheer joy of simply being able to construct a giant empty cube room and then go in-game and walk around inside that room in Half Life et al. A room _I_ made out of nothing, and _I_ can walk around. Doesn't change that the most iconic part of Dark Souls 2 is the worst part.
