@@Soflogamer the first 3 are ultra overdone. Are the last two like...actual locations, or just forests with the tree themes changed? It's 2024 and there's still no 'muh realism' shooters out there with the balls to put a map in an actual american or european town or city instead of a reskinned ukrainian forest. We BADLY need some dramatically different environments and assets. I want to see actual western structures and infrastructure, and for it to be more than 4 houses on a rural road. I want to a faction set in America or similar with actual weapon variety(stuff like civilian market weapons, exotic weapons since unlike a military, people will collect them, 3D printed weapons, entirely new civilian/guerilla manufactured weapons, etc.), clothing that isn't just drab variations of uniforms and man-dresses, languages I can understand, western vehicle 'ingenuity', you know.....VARIETY. Something other than the same exact scenarios beaten into atoms at this point. We'll never get it because the LARP clans will protest like they did at ArmA 3''s setting, but it's nice to dream.

Vietnam has I think 2 maps based off of real locations, with pretty great map design. You get shot by the trees a lot. I do agree with the 2nd half, it’d be very cool to see that. There’s a server with a new map called “city warfare” I haven’t played yet though

yesss one of my favorite servers love playing T side. they did a good job on the historical accuracy of the gear. normally NATO side is also RPing pretty hard so its fun to be unorganized on T side just adds to the whole vibe. great server and great video man. At the same time, part of me is super annoyed at having to read your clickbait in my subscription feed and I'm usually not subscribed to channels, who use clickbait titles. These channels get +100k views per vid even though they don't use clickbait btw… So I think it is possible. The overuse of exaggerations like (MASTERPIECE, GREATEST, INCREDIBLE) just makes me numb to your "judgement" and when an actual banger game drops, I will probably miss it. Same reason I don't usually engage with "breaking news" on news sites, because most of the time they don't warrant that classification. Same shit happened to Bluedrake's channel, btw. It's just clickbait these days and I've long been unsubscribed. Seems to be the case for most moddable games these days. It used to be that the mods were cool but never really matched the actual updates the developer would drop. Now the mods seem to greatly outclass the devs and seem to be pumped out in a fraction of the time

The whole point of Arma is to support the community to build whatever they want. “Arma” is an immersive sandbox environment, it’s not a “game”. Bohemia Interactive have built a new engine (Enfusion) and user friendly development tools (Workbench) with integration to 3rd party 3D modelling tools like Blender. These tools are used by the developers themselves and are also available (for free!) for anyone who wants to use them to create whatever they want. It’s not Bohemia Interactive being “lazy” who want the community to build their stuff for them, it’s a community that they support - it’s the whole point!
