I've always wondered what it would be like to see someone else's dreams, so today I'll try to show you mine. Unfortunately I only have nightmares so this video will be a little spooky.

When I was a kid, I used to have a lot of nightmares, but one day my dad was in my dream and he taught me a trick (inside the dream) to wake up if I wanted to: I had to shut my eyes as tight as I could, count to three, and then open them wide, and it would always work. I still use this trick to this day.
@ghostlysander
@ghostlysander 2 жыл бұрын
It wan't your dad, it was your subconsciousness. I don't expect that trick to work for everyone, but i saw somewhere that when you think of your body laying in bed you wake up. I expect that one to work for more people. Your subconsciousness knows so much about everything, litteraly every single detail in your dream is constructed by your subconsciousness. Even when you don't remember how someone looks, your subconsciousness probably does remember it.

I think the psychological meaning behind it is like you subconsciously feel like nobody will care if you die or like if you die it will be a burden to people so you have to hide it? That’s just my guess.

When I was younger I had a reoccurring nightmare that would always take place in my home. My dream family and self would try to hide and lock all the doors and windows, and we knew we had to do it before there was a knock at the door. But, the knock at the door would always come early, and I remember feeling desperate and panicked to hide myself and my siblings. We always failed, everytime I tried to close a door, it disappeared and the ambiguous monsters would kill us.

I don’t have nightmares, but I’ve had this one nightmare about a man with a flute, his limbs we’re twisted and covered in thorns, stabbing his snow pale skin. @fandomwriter8789
@fandomwriter8789 Жыл бұрын
@@matildalitsey143 sleep paralysis is basically when your mind is awake but your body is asleep. So you’re technically awake in your mind but your body can’t move. There are theories as to why it happens, especially in my case because its so strange. I think for me, I get it because I have a technique to wake myself up from a nightmare, but most dreams happen in REM sleep which is the deepest sleep. So I think for my case, waking myself up from a nightmare causes me to be paralyzed. There really isn’t a way to prevent it cause all the ways doctors have said to stop it don’t work. There is a myth that sleeping on your back causes it but I consider that false cause I get it regardless of how I sleep.

the most vivid nightmare i’ve ever had was a few months ago when i still lived at my parent’s place. i don’t remember the buildup at all but i so vividly remember hearing my bedroom door opening, the door creaking, the sound of footsteps, everything. i looked over and this very tall, pale woman was standing there and she vaguely looked like one of my older sisters. the woman started to approach me and i felt someone touch me as the woman pushed me off of my bed in the dream, then the dream descended into the woman chasing me over and under my bed, which had my plushes under it at first but they seemed to disappear after the second loop. it was strange, but still the freakiest nightmare i’ve had in a while

This may sound a bit weird but this is my most recent and recurring nightmare. I decided to name it something odd, but it's called "Raining Blood". I will try to stay out of the vivid stuff but I can't promise I won't add blood. So quick warning, there will be blood. Pretty much it, though it will take a bit for you to read, it's very long. Anyway hope you enjoy my nightmare story called........ Raining Blood: I start always by waking up in this kinda hospital bed. I always seem to have lost all my family in a car accident. I become a orphan and a foster home is quick to adopt me. I feel weird because of course they never met me, since I have been in a coma. But I have no choice because there are no other foster homes that want me, so I am always forced with having a weird and creepy foster parents. It always changes but I will say the most recent nightmare's family. They are all brown haired, and I end up having blond. There is one father, he is tall, strong, and quick on his feet. John always listens to Martha, John is the father and Martha is the mother. Martha is skinny, "sweet", strict, and is vegetarian. Martha is the boss of the house. She always wears a different dress, and anybody who ruins one gets taken to the basement and never returns. There was a sister and a brother, Rosy and Corey. Rosy is bossy, skinny, and light on her feet too. She also wears a different dress each day. Corey is lazy, mean, and just a bully. He is really fat too. So back to the story, I was carrying my breakfast and was minding my own business when Rosy randomly steps in my path. I ram into her and you guessed it, was quickly picked up by the ear and dragged to the basement by Martha. As soon as I got there I now understood while no one ever came back. This was a laboratory. Martha was experimenting on kids. I was the next. Before I could react I was tossed into a tube shaped thing. I tried to scream but no one heard me. I knew I was trapped. Then the tube was starting to fill with a liquid. I immediately started to bang on the tube, but it was no use. I couldn't escape no matter how hard I tried, but I kept trying. Up to my waist now and it is starting to get really hot. I kept banging hoping, praying, I would live. Then it reached my neck and I screamed at the top of my lungs to let me out. Then I was engulfed in the liquid, and I could.....breath??? I felt so tired after screaming so loud, I needed to rest. I was about to fall asleep when chains grabbed at my neck and legs and arms. I tried to shake free when at that moment I knew what she wanted with me, she wanted to grant her kids powers, and by doing that means making sacrifices. I fainted and next thing I knew I felt something warm and sticky running down my face, so I opened my eyes, and almost fainted again. My own body was hanging above me, slashed to ribbons and was dripping blood down onto me. I realized I could escape so I did. But as soon as I did I wished I didn't. It was raining, but it wasn't water it was raining, it was blood, and terror swept through me when I felt something jolt into me, and I felt that warm and stickiness again dripping down my body, then I wake up screaming. The End.

I've had this recurring nightmare of where my dad kills me? it's always very unexpected and the theme is always different. but if there's a dad-like figure in the dream, they'll kill me. my thought is maybe because I am so scared of my dad. he verbally and mentally abuses me and even though it's not as bad as what other people go through, it still terrifies me. and even still I'm scared of him. he's a nice person unless angered or annoyed. it's like he has two completely different personalities.. this nightmare still follows me and I can recall 2 of them the first and another that was a few months ago. I know I've had dreams like this around 6 times I think? it's scary and I'm terrified that it might come true

i can relate to that, my parents are nice people but i never know if they love me or not. Idk if its me making it up or they really are manipulating me, saying that i should love myself more but constantly puttng me down and treating me as if i am a failure and a blank person compaired to my sister. I want to love them and i know what it is like to love and look up to someone but for the past few years i have moments where i feel like maybe i could be good enough and be happy with them, and moments of petrifying terror. It's not like they do anything really horrible to me. It may be since on one side their parents died when they were young and the other had a neglecting mother, and they say they try their best for that not to affect me. But, Just like you i can be terrified of both of them. I don't have nightmares alot actually, and when i do they are weird and make no sense (i dont remember my dreams so much).

I've had weird dreams, they got worse when I was older but when I was little I remember that when having a really bad nightmare at the end there would either be a red blue or green background with words on it, I would always close my eyes to stop it, b it my eyelids dissapeared, I use my hands and they dissapeared, soon after I would see a really disfigured mutated and bloody zombie woman, she always wore a t-shirt, no idea what the color was and she normally has short hair, she was at the right bottom corner of my vision and right before the real nightmare I would wake up crying, I've had a worse nightmare as well, you see.. when I was little I was deathly afraid of swipe the fox from Dora the Explorer, I would start out in an apple orchard and my parents would leave, they either put me in the bucket of apples or I walked into the bucket and hid for a while, after there would be a witch with green skin, a long nose, warts everwhere, and a black dress, her hair was always greasy and she wore a hat. She tried to get me to go with her but I always threw something at her that either paralised her, knocked her out, or killed her.i then proceeded to run, finding a maze where I had to do certain things to get through, once compleated I would meet swiper the fox, he was sling me things, I never bough any of them, I ran into an old orphanage, it was dirty and the beds looked looked like they came from and horror movie, I would hear what sounded like a spray bottle being squirted twice, it's the only way I can describe the sound, I duck down, hands over My head and wait a small bird would come up come up to me and chirp, I would hush it or try to gey it to leave but instead instead I protected it, I was so scared, then I had to deal with the ending of the nightmare, when when I woke up I was crying, I still have a twenty year old teddy bear and and Twelve to thirteen year old stuffed dog that's named doggy dog, I hug him and he calms me down, teddy is nice to have when going places. As I got older I jo longer see the nightmare ending but my nightmares could scare a grown man, they involve burning buildings, suffocating, murder, falling, and other things.... luckly luckly don't get nightmares of often.. just weird dreams now! Hope you enjoyed reading this new friend. Please ignore any bad spelling.. I'm typing typing this at midnight and androids have tiny keypads.. plus I type fast which makes me have more spelling errors if I'm I'm not careful

As a really really little kid I had a nightmare about the cheese monster from a pup named Scooby Doo. Then an octopus was squeezing me to where I couldn’t breath. I woke up and I was being tightly squeezed by my blanket. Also the flowers from the original Jumanji Asa well as the thumping sound the box gave off in the movie. STILL scares me.

My dreams are always really stupid, but when I was younger I had a recurring nightmare that sounds stupid now, but terrified me. (For context I was terrified of witches) I would be having a picnic with some princesses and we would be talking about dogs (my favourite animal was a dog). A few other princesses came around but something didn’t seem right. They added some seasoning to one of the dishes and Snow White ate it. Suddenly snow transformed into a monster and she started trying to kill me and the other princesses. Then the princesses that added the seasoning transformed to their true witch form. They then started trying to kill me and all the other princesses. They made the floor this green liquid and when the princesses fell in, they would turn into monsters. All of them became monsters and they would try to make me fall of the picnic table. The witches were evily laughing the entire time. I had this dream almost every night from when I was 3-5 years old. When I was 5 my Dad taught me a trick though. Turn my pillow over to switch the channel for a nice dream. It was weird and didn’t make sense but it worked and every time I have a nightmare I just do that. Now I just have dreams where hisoka, gon and killua twerk for no reason. Idk how my dreams changed so much

I don't think I get dreams anymore or at least I probably immediately forget them once I start to wake up. My family have said I've always been asleep talker but you know sleep talkers don't know what we're saying at night but from what my family has told me I occasionally say a few words then silence or I just mumble words that sound like I'm putting a spell on someone like in a weird different language. My family have said that I am loud when I talk in my sleep yelling and I only talk for a few moments and then I stop. I remember one time my mom told me I said very clearly one night that. " yay I beat the game!"

Most people find organs or pianos a creepy instrument, but for me its a harp. In all of my nightmares, there is some form of harp. In some, its a small hand-held one, and in others its a large one on the ground. to my knowledge every dream i’ve ever had was a nightmare. some are more unsettling, others are properly terrifying. they’re very vivid and i can usually both feel sensory stuff and choose what im doing (a level of lucidity i guess). i just watched the dream illustration video as well and resonated a lot with what you were saying about dreams being really vivid and striking and sticking with you. i often write mine down just because they’re so bizarre and i want to make sense of it. most of my dreams are in a few “worlds”, where the logic is consistent (for example in some dreams i can fly, or all the buildings are mazes-each set of matching rules gradually forms into an interconnected world). it’s a lot

I think one of the scariest dreams I've ever had was when I was about 7 I dreamt about all of my family becoming cannibals and then trying to hunt me down to eat me. I also had a dream once that wasn't as scary but more just sad. So my great uncle died when I was about 10 and a few days after I found out, I had a dream that he visited me again. He was with my grandma (his sister) and she was crying and I don't remember much else about the dream only that he visited me.

One nightmare I remember having was when I was in first grade. Little context, I was terrified of fire when I was younger. So, the dream starts with me and my class heading to the cafeteria for lunch. And there was a door that led to the downstairs right next to the gym. So as my class is approaching the door, my gym teacher runs up to us and is like “Look! They are remodeling the gym into something.” So now we are back in class and some of us are speculating about what they could be turning the gym into. So then a couple weeks go by, and we see the progress these people are making. And then finally, they reveal it. A fire station thingy! I was like “No way am I doing this crap” so I stayed back whilst everyone else did whatever it was. Then there was an alarm, and it cuts to firemen holding my classmates going down a pole like you see in cartoons, while performing magic and switching them between outfits until they find the uniform. The dream ended with a fireman holding my friend and switching her outfit going down a pole. While all that was happening though, I was outside of the gym with my teacher and gym teacher who were like “Come on, just go, it’ll be fun!” Also, another weird thing from when I was really young was that my bed was against the wall, and I had a strange thing where if something dropped on the side where the wall is, some automatic little robot guy would come by and splat all of my family with an orange slime and we would all be jumbled up together. My brain worked in very weird ways.

For the first one- I’ve had a nightmare really similar (the following paragraph is the nightmare) My parents were throwing a party and then an absolutely terrifying family type thing, were two kids, twins, and they were constantly staring at me holding knives and the parents just stared at me the entire time in a menacing way. Then we walk into the kitchen and everyone in my family is asking me to do stuff (that Idk how to do) and I go into the cabinet that suddenly gets like really big, then the family follows me and I try to scream for help but my mouth is just not working, and then they corner me and I sob because I can’t be helped or anything and then they (tw gross knife stuff) cut out little things like my ears, eyes, younger, fingers, toes etc. and then they take out my heart and it magically becomes a pie and they eat it.

Thankfully, I don't have nightmares too often, so whenever I DO have nightmares, they're usually pretty memorable and really unsettling. In particular, I remember one I have about seeing someone suddenly go flying through a car windshield, even though the car wasn't moving and nothing had hit the car, and another one about a demon-possessed water plant that got wrapped around my leg as I was wading around the shallow part of a lake, and it kept trying to pull me back into the water to drown me (although I managed to get away). I remember being scared in both dreams, and I didn't want to go back to sleep after waking up from either dream.

I love how you made these as "conceptual" pieces in a lot of ways, rather than just literal scenes. How you evoked the themes and feelings of the nightmares with the sort of "movie-poster montages" of images was awesome. I am fascinated by dreams and nightmares, and also do art stuff, btw. I am getting back into doing more dream-inspired personal works again, after years of doing stuff at the behest of art directors. Thanks for the inspiration (from this and your other "drawing places I saw in dreams" video). Cool stuff!

I have nightmares every time I dream but I remember this one very vividly I had it about a year or so ago. Dream- I awake from bed and got up to get ready I packed my bag up and started to walk to my friend’s house but the world was similar to my real life but different. My house was the same but the area around looked like the shopping center near my mother’s house I had to walk past. I finally got to my friends house and we chilled and played games until dark then we huddled under the blanket to read scary stories. The stories were bad things that happened to me irl though so that was a bit unsettling. After that we went to bed. I forgot to mention that my age kept shifting from a child to young adult my age kept shifting from about 8 to 23. When we woke the next morning we got ready and left their house. When we walked past the shopping center I had mentioned earlier their was traffic. The traffic was so bad the cars were barely moving in and out of the parking lot. Their was a guy who kept starring at me and my friend until we got out of sight. When we got close to my home I told my friend we should go to my other friends house down the street because I saw that the man from earlier was following us. We were walking by the way. After we left that other friends house we went to mine and my father greeted me witch was odd even though I was living with him. A few seconds later we noticed the man coming towards us with a knife and gun. My dog was giving me a hug when the man tried to get me. We shut the door and hid my friend was also with me though so she hid as well. After about an hour in my dream we got up the man found a way in. We heard a Loud yell and scream from the kitchen. I saw my dad had been stabbed and shot twice it was then we called the cops but they didn’t show. Then I saw my dogs stomach had been slashed open and I cried in fear as we ran out the front door the man shot me in the head and I fell on my face almost dead. (The week before the dream I had listened to an audio book that described how getting shot feels like and how the fresh blood should feel) before I blacked out in my dream I heard my friend screaming for help as I feel to sleep forever soaking in my pool of blood and then I awoke ^end^ I had this dream 3 times and ever time the man changed shape and my friend changed so did the world around me but every time it would go something like how I explained above.

When I was very little, I had very bad nightmares so my mom bought me a little dragon figurine (I was really obsessed with dragons at the time) and set it on my nightstand. She told me it would fight off my nightmares while I slept. I have never had a nightmare since I got that little figurine and I sleep with it in my bedroom to this day. I think it's crazy that the belief that a dragon was protecting me trained my brain not to give me nightmares.

I hardly ever remember my dreams or nightmares, but one nightmare really stuck with me: I was in bed, listening to music, when my shoulder started to itch. As I scratched at my shoulder, I could feel something beneath my skin, but couldn't tell what it was. Eventually, I felt my skin break and felt an odd tingling sensation where I was hurt. I ran my hand across the area and felt something moving. I grabbed it and slowly started pulling (and I remember having a really numbing sensation while I did so), which was when I saw what had been under my skin: a long, fuzzy caterpillar. And I mean long, like the size of a 12-inch ruler or so. Not long after I got a good look at it, more bugs started to break out from beneath my skin. Beetles, worms, crickets, roaches, spiders, basically anything and everything people deem as a "creepy-crawly". I remember trying to scream for help as I cried, but all I could hear was the chirping and buzzing of all the bugs in my head. I woke up after that, crying and my skin crawling. When I felt that sensation, I genuinely had to check and make sure I wasn't still dreaming before taking a few minutes to calm down. Normally, I enjoy insects and whatnot, but that dream has honestly stuck with me.

this is going to sound absolutely bonkers, but a lot of the time when I wake up from nightmares I will take a few deep breaths and go right back to sleep to try and control the ending of the nightmare and turn things around for me. I used to have recurring nightmares where something would happen, and it could range from REALLY horrifying to just sort of mediocre on the horror-scale (sometimes something gruesome and creepy would be chasing me and catching up, sometimes I would just be sucked down a surreal pit), but then my back would hurt REALLY bad, like I was being forced to bend backwards past the point that my back can handle, and then the pain would fade away, and then it would come back again over and over and over, sometimes three times, sometimes over ten times. Once, I managed to wake up, but then it KEPT GOING, and my back actually ARCHED to the point where it hurt, completely uncontrollably. I have no clue what was going on with that, but (thank the skies) I don't have those nightmares anymore. I don't actually have any nightmares anymore, so that's nice! What I would do when I had a bad dream is I would lay in bed with the lights on and read whatever book I was working on at the time (never anything that might be unsettling or scary. I recommend any fantasy with a brightly-colored cover, for de-scaring purposes. Yes, judge your books by their covers), and then I would read as many chapters as it took for me to regain confidence and stop being scared. But for a baseline, I would read about 10 chapters before thinking about the dream, because thinking about it prematurely can just make you panic again, and THAT'S no good! I would recommend reading anything that you can burry yourself in, because that's when you TRULY let go of the dream. Also, last thing, DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE TIME! Don't try to rush calming down for fear that you won't be back to sleep in time, because if you DO, you'll likely just have the same nightmare again and get just as little sleep as if you'd stayed up (just with the addition of terror). I hope that's helpful to anyone struggling with nightmares! ^U^

omg how does your brain come up with this stuff. these would be pretty good horror films. fr though I feel bad that you have to actually go through it because I know that when you’re dreaming it doesn’t feel like a dream, it feels real and I can’t imagine living through any of this.

when i was like 4-7 i used to get nightmares every day but i learned a way to prevent nightmares basically just don't do or watch anything that's scary or not child friendly(gore,horror etc.) and after you do that for a long time you can try slowly watching anything you want before bed just not gore.

I only get nightmares (not every night however), and this started back around when I was 6-7 years old. I can only remember one vivid nightmare from when I was 6-7. The nightmare starts with me waking up, chained to a chair in a blank white room screaming for my mum and dad. A floating, Annabelle like doll with blank, empty eyes enters the room with two extremely tall men in black suits, and black scribbles (like a weird mass of scribbles) for faces either side of the doll. The men were holding my parents and pushed them to the floor. The doll then grabbed my mum and decapitated her with a random kitchen knife that came out of nowhere. Then, as I was screaming, chained to the chair watching this unfold, the doll choked out my dad and gouged out his eyes. In this dream there was no blood, which I find quite peculiar. Then the doll tilted her head up to look at me, and her head did a full 360° turn as she started floating at me. I then woke up, sweating. Keep in mind, I had this nightmare when I was 6 and my parents said they heard my screaming in the middle of the night. I don’t understand how my 6 year-old brain was able to think up a story like this, as it sounds like a Steven king story-

I came into the comment section hoping to find someone analyzing what her dreams mean but I guess I’ll have to do it myself. The thing that really stuck out to me was that the dream where she was kidnapped and dismembered by business men was in college. I think it might have been rooted in the fear of becoming a slave to the art industry. She mentioned in her video about lies they say in art school that her school reinforced the notion that there were only two options for an artist: becoming a gallery artist or working an industry job. In her dream she is restrained by men in suits as they take her apart piece by piece while she helplessly watches. This could symbolize the industry using her talents with no input or control from her. As for the others I’m not quite sure but they both have to do with being betrayed by her family in a way, and In both dreams Haley is in danger but her parents do nothing about it. I probably don’t know enough about her life to draw any conclusions from this, but I’m definitely not coming to the conclusion that her parents are neglectful. Like I said I would need more context to know what the dreams mean. I’m also not a dream expert so take my thoughts with a grain of salt.

i’d have to agree with this. Also if I might add, I think the part about her being immortal in her dream symbolizes how the industry has a control over her as an *artist* ( you know how sometimes artists tend to ponder about how there work would be *immortalized*) maybe it symbolizes how others will decide how she’ll be remembered, her immortality.

I also suffer from chronic nightmares ever since I was little, but they've become more prominent and graphically disturbing as I've gotten older due to traumas I've gone through. And I can feel the pain in every one, yet my speech would be winded and barely audible no matter how big a breath I'd take, or how loud I would scream. A common setting in the majority of my nightmares is the inside of a hospital or mental institute. Teetering between Silent Hill levels of filthy and condemned, and stainless stark white walls and floors completely spotless only with splashes of bright crimson blood surrounded by other children. On a lighter note: I've been trying to figure out what to post on my channel, and you and your creepy videos playlist have inspired me to draw and talk about my own nightmares like this video here. Maybe it'll help others understand the nightmarish imagery that I experience in my dreams

I despise the specific type of nightmares I get, not because they’re scary, but because i straight up can’t tell them apart from my memories. I take anxiety meds that give me vivid dreams and there has been an infinite amount of times I’ve chatted with friends about an event in our past that never even happened, or I’d apologize for something I never did, sometimes I’ve even thought a loved who’s fine and well had died. The most terrifying part of it all is getting so many dreams and nightmares in a single night that I have no way to identify true events from fantasies.

I don't typically have dreams, and if I do they are these weird dream core-ish nightmares. My most recent one is these two girls, small, faceless, blonde 8 or 9 year old girls running up and down hill in perfect circles in and out of a puddle. It's the type of nightmare that freaks me out the most like they're just to perfect to be human and to human to be perfect.

Here’s my interpretation of the 1st dream: but just warning you, this is surface level and I don’t know anything about LavenderTowne’s childhood. reoccurring dreams where you are in danger and your loved ones that you trust don’t believe you is commonly due to early signs of anxiety disorders. Your home and parents represent a safe space, but an “invader” comes in and no one keeps you safe. It’s up to yourself to save yourself, but this is an adult who is stronger than you so it seems pointless in fighting. So you’re tortured and no one understands or believes that you’re in danger. I had similar dreams as a kid and I have 3 anxiety disorders now. There’s even some articles out there about these types of dreams. Anxiety is often misunderstood by adults and parents often are in denial about their child having a mental illness. All mental illnesses aren’t something you can “see” and they want hard facts. Kinda like the parents not believing in how dangerous the lady was. To them, she seemed harmless. Similar to how many situations seem easy to neurotypical people and very hard for people with anxiety. The third dream could even be anxiety related because again, your safe space aka your parents don’t do anything to keep you safe. Your being silenced with dirt as your brutally and slowly killed ON CAMERA. You’re a KZbinr. This could def be about making a mistake or feeling pressure to not screw up in front of others. You don’t want to make loud noises out of embarrassment for maybe burdening others? Looking stupid? Getting too much attention? Then at the end of the dream you just kinda accept your death.

I once had a nightmare around I was 8, its stuck with me ever since. I was with my brother and dad at a sort of party, we had to turn around while the cake was being served but I turned around and the dude hosting the party was having his head sawed open with a chainsaw. I had panicked and was trying to get my dad to look so he wouldn't think I'm lying, yet he wouldn't move, his eyes were blank but then by brother who has 9 at the time asked me if he should turn around yet I seemed to not understand him as I was still begging my dad to let us leave. My brother wouldn't stop asking "do I turn around?" in the same tone of voice over and over again like a broken record, everyone other then me and my brother weren't moving like they were statues.

Whoa- that was pretty scary though... I like some "nightmares". I mean, if there was a monster, they would become good or funny when he tried to relax me or make sense of what was happening and try to change the situation. But what I consider nightmares is when my family is involved, once I almost had a heart attack when I woke up and dreamed that my cousin had been killed by her boyfriend (in real life it wasn't him, random person I guess) . Another when my father was yelling at a girl (I don't want to say what he was yelling at her about...). When the fantasy arises, it can make nightmares exciting, but when my family is there or it's a situation that may be real, it makes me uncomfortable and horrified.

For fun, here's one of my nightmares- It happened once, but sometimes the same topic comes over and over again. Basically, me and my family were sleeping in my room. I'd wake up, and there would be this strange creature- I don't exactly remember. And it terrified me, because this dream was like 3 years ago. Anyway, I would try screaming and shouting to wake them up, but nothing would come out. Kinda like a whisper when your throat hurts. And so I would watch as the creature came closer and closer, and right before it reached me, I woke up. By the "same topic" I mean something is happening that only I know, but I can't speak. Truly terrifying.

I had a nightmare, so I wrote it as a story! I was really stupid in this by the way. This is also the reason why I started liking the dark academia aesthetic, since that was what the aesthetic was. I'm actually going to turn this into a whole thing, and make it into a concept, with OCs, an actual story.. because this is not even close to a story No one was there. By me and my nightmare. 'It was a Halloween night. Halloween is probably the worst holidays for me. So, I just decided to stay at home, on my bed watching shows. I just want to relax and- *knock knock knock!* Oh. Maybe I should've put a sign on my door. I got up to go to my door to tell them I'm not celebrating. I got to my door and opened it. Nobody was there. Maybe it was just a trick, so I went out to look further from my door to see if anyone was there. No one was there. I went back inside, closed and locked my door, and went back in my room.' ------------------------------------------------------------------- 'It was 9pm, which means this dumb holiday is still going on. *Knock knock knock!* Again? I got up quicker this time to catch the prankster before they could get away. I opened my door. Again. No one was there. Seriously?? I took a breath and closed my door again. I stomped back to my room because of these kids. Where are their parents? I layed down on my bed to watch my show again.. and would you know it? *Knock. Knock. Knock.* I didn't get up, I just ignored it. It's not worth my time. *Knock knock knock* I heard again. I just kept ignoring it. *KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* WHY?! Know what. I'll go. No one will be there. But I'll open it so they can stop. I went over and opened my door... No one was there. I shook my head in disappointment. I backed up so I can close my door. Before I could move it.. I felt someone grab my shoulder. Frozen, I was unable to even breathe. Only thing I could move were my eyes. I looked down at my shoulder. No one was there. I could move again knowing nothing or no one was touching me. I looked behind me. No one was there.' 'I turned back around to close my door.' 'That.' 'That's where a tall slender figure stood. Dark with white eyes, it's crooked posture, it neck is twisted like a stick, I could see a thick light grey liquid oozing from out of it's broken neck, it's hands were slim and long, with it's fingers being dust like. It towered over me, watching as I was helplessly standing there. There was that feeling again. This can't be a costume right? If it was, it's too realistic. It can't be. It can't. It's not. You can see it, it's not fake. Its skin is real, its eyes are real, it was hunched over. Frozen in place again. I can't react. No emotion. Not even fear. I was just standing there. It was coming closer, but I couldn't move. I just accepted what was going to happen. Before I knew it, everything was dark. No sound, no lights, no feelings of any kind. It didn't feel real. It felt like I was trapped. It felt like...' ------------------------------------------------------------------- I woke up, went back to sleep 5 minutes later.

lavendertownes childhood nightmares: my childhood nightmares: people made of sticks in an opposite realm and i'm the only real human being and i was using immense reverse psychology in order to communicate. (night-terror) edit: i guess i should elaborate. this starts with me "waking up", and hearing one of my siblings say something about it being morning, and i go downstairs. i'm a wimpy as human and i feel like crying right there and then. but they seem decent and i begin using reverse psychology. i get dressed and go to school, where things are usual, my teacher was fine, (there was another girl with my name, and we did this thing called rewards at the end of the day) and when her name was called, i instinctively got up instead, and got the damn sticker. i head home and take a shower, something about gluing sticks to my body, and i was about 3 at the time, and i found this shiz terrifying. at the end i remember busting out in tears and my stick family replacement thought it was some kind of joke, so they begun laughing at my tears. then i woke up, apparently i was taken downstairs and slept with my dad, whom sleeps on the sofa, crying for like hours apparently.

I didn’t hav many nightmares but what I did have was EXTREME fear of something being there.. with me.. and it followed me everywhere but especially at nighttime and one time I even cried and it felt so like something was there my stomach felt nervous and it made me feel even more scared and also plus the fact I couldn’t shush it away.. it just made feel like something was there .. if u think about it ur not scared of being alone in the dark, ur scared of not being alone in the dark.

I'm a little late to this, but I wanted to share. When I was about six years old, I had one of the worst and weirdest nightmares I've ever had. The dream started off with me waking up horribly thirsty. I got out of bed and went downstairs to fill up a cup of water, not anything out of the ordinary. But then, I heard a loud croakish-growl from the hall leading to the kitchen. I turn to see an orange toad with purple spots twice my size staring down at me. Suddenly, It unhinged its jaw to the point where the top of its head was all the way to the floor. Out of nowhere, I was third person as I watched the toad bite me to pieces. It was horrible; there was blood and gore everywhere. I tried to look away from this but I couldn't move. One the toad had eaten every last bit of me, he froze. Slowly, it turned its head to face where I was stuck, and then vanished. I woke up before anything else could happen. Sorry if this was a bit long, thank you If you read all this!

Remember kids, if you ever get a nightmare, try to talk-no-jutsu your killer into... not killing you.

What if i'm the killer? (actually serieus) one time i was chased by a fat man in a suite in very tight white corridors and i found a necklace on the corner with a blue circular gemstone on it and choked him with it till he stoped moving and i stayed in the same chokehold position even though he probably died

Called a insane asylum I believe but it’s common for people to think that I makes them crazy. It’s actually used for people who are insane to contain them. If you are talking about something else I’m sorry.

No it was a type of torture. I heard of it... I think it was called White or Blank torture? Basically you'd be trapped in a white room eat only white food (like rice) and and every guard and you would wear only white clothes. No windows, no colors only white
