Second season of Failed Knight is something I STILL want to see happen. We finally had an Overpowered MC that made sense and actually worked hard to reach his path, a main heroine who is not only hot, and a tsundere but is also a soild pick for the MC, the fights were dope as hell and finally A ROMANCE THAT STARTED IN A SHORT TIME FRAME THAT WASN'T TOO LONG! Also no harem and an OP that was hype helped matters a lot. Really loved this show! Also you have Kurumi four times in your top girls list........respect lol.

I am big fan of this series, Season 2 seems hard to come, but there is always a hope. As someone who reads this series light novel, I can say that the battles in the anime are simpler than the battles in the novel. I definitely wish sequel would come.

Man, I forgot about this anime until now and oh how good was this. I remember watching this during my era of watching generic ecchi anime and this one hooked me in with action also, those fight scenes were amazing for me at the time. Also, I forgot just how hot this anime gets, Stella especially, that fever episode made me feel things.

It is one of my all time faves, and it sooooooo deserves a S2. That scene where his eyes freak out as he jumps down in slow mo with the terrorists, it still gets me every time, as well as that final fight scene too. Man, done right is indeed the way to put it. It KILLS me that so much crap gets more crap, but a show like this does NOT get a sequel. Oh well, guess I will just rewatch it another 10 times or so... like, I am not even kidding, at least once a year bro, hehe :)

I remember watching this show once in sub and a second time in dub. Both times I wish this got a second season because I really wanted to see where the story was going to take the characters next. The MC was such a breath of fresh air for this genre and while this technically wasn’t a harem it kinda had the same energy or at least it felt that way to me. Regardless instead of generic isekai number 7,532 we should’ve had more of this. Too bad this came out at a time when second seasons were mythical at least and an extreme rarity at most.

This is the anime I point to when talking about what can be done with only 12 ep. So many rush, drop fight quality or just leave a story unfinished in such a disappointing way. But Chivalry doesn't do any of that, pacing is good, fight great and the end is satisfying all the while making you hyped the for the next season......which if Irregular at magic High got another season there is still hope for this.

I recently watched this anime a couple months ago and I fully agree with you. I heard good things about it and seen on the top anime videos that you see all the time and heard snippets of the opening song a bunch so I decided to binge it. I have to say, I loved the anime! Ikki is a great character and boyfriend to stella without any of the harem stuff getting between his and stella's relationship which I appreciate. Also, Stella is one of my favorite tsunderes because she is not your typical violent and prone to not expressing her feelings towards ikki but actually having healthy conversations with ikki on how they are going to further their relationship and get through the jealousy phase of their relationship. I also love that Ikki is not OP for the sake of OP but getting it through hard work and struggling in each fight and adapting to his opponents. I also love that stella always had ikki's back with everything he did and did not hestitate to say yes to ikki's proposal at the end! I have to say yes, you are right about stella, she is a beautiful and caring lady that gets feisty and angry for the people she cares about and will beat anyone that disturbs her peace with ikki.

I just love the fact that Stella and Ikki do eventually have sex in the novels and even though she has healing magic, she didnt want to heal the pain she felt from having sex for the first time because she saw that pain as proof of his love for her. I thought that was incredibly wholesome and I wish they could've gotten to that point in the anime 😔

This was a great recommendation. It was hilarious and fun. I didn’t watch anime back then but I do also put DXD in the fun and ecchi-ish of that generation. Watched halfway through and it does so well at making a story while sort of making fun of its own tropes. Also, yes, I like the overall theory of hard work > just ability. HIDIVE seems to use the same cadre of voice actors. Luci Christian and Hilary Haag do many shows which HIDIVE holds the license for, yet I have never heard either of their voices on a show that Funimation/Crunchyroll holds.
