While all those are, at the very least, unconventional, I know for a fact those are still at the top of the iceberg. There's a fetish for anything and apparently Japan will provide at least one source, either an anime, a doujin manga, a light novel, you name it. And boy oh boy, does it go darker and weirder. Nazo no Kanojo X (Mysterious Girlfriend X) is one of my all time fav romance anime. Yup, the first few times Urabe and Tsubaki-kun swap spit it's got a high gross out factor BUT you get used to it really fast. If you can settle in and get used to the spit thing what you're left with is a true gem of an anime. There are some scenes in it that I would say are amongst the best drawn scenes in all of anime...just stunning. Plus, the relationship between Tsubaki and Urabe is 100% relationship goals (though it's not as wholesome as the vid lets you believe...it's discussed pretty quick the Urabe knows Tsubaki will be the one to take her virginity and it does revolve around that quite a bit, but in an innocent way). Highly recommend the show.

"Shimoneta: A Boring World Where The Concept Of Dirty Jokes Doesn't Exist" is a phenomenal anime and if you liked that one, I HIGHLY SUGGEST WATCHING "Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt"!
