To be fair, I probs won't even reach diamond. Like I play good and I get ranked up and currently I'm a gold III or II not sure and my friends I play with are a bit weird, like when we are trying to actually get a decent rank like Plat or Diamond, they mainly just run around and try and shoot each other toes and we end up losing that match because we were all low on hp and it's carries on every single game and round and mainly that's how we lose a rank and blame each other for it.

I feel the same way. This is honestly a really interesting video. First thing to note is that it's 90% defence gameplay. Not sure if that's just a coincidence, but could seriously speak volumes about how much easier it is to shit on people in defence compared to attack. Second thing is, he's really not afraid to take on 1v1s. Some of the things he's doing in principle seem to make no sense, e.g. peeking the same window on Cafe Dostoyevsky against a Kali like 10 times and somehow still gets the kill. I feel like it just doesn't make sense to play like that on defence, but for some reason it works for Spoit. Goes to show how important speed and accuracy are for this game - it seems to trump just about everything else.

this is high level though. You can just play in copper/bronze if you don't want to play with the sweaters. The matches are better in ranked regardless of which rank it is, because players aren't allowed to leave or else they get suspended
