El Salvador is one of the best coffee providers in the world. It's so interesting to see the farm and coffee production.

Thank you for shedding light on what Starbucks does with the coffee they buy , I will no longer buy coffee there . Also thank you for showing the beautiful coffe farm and explaining about the Arabica style coffee of El Salvador . Very sad to learn that some of the workers earn only $ 10.00 a day . As you said , it is " tough ass work " , my ppl deserve so much more , no, I cannot imagine earning minimum wage for such hard work. The workers are such honorable people , I deeply admire their courage. Government needs to change the minimum wages, how do ppl survive ? Thanks again for the video.
@eliseomadrid59192 жыл бұрын
Hi , I think they raised the minimum wages now,and we have a new President and pretty soon things will be better for the population I am sure.
@PilgartExplores2 жыл бұрын
True! I wouldn't be happy to do that job, but it's better than nothing. Any business will pay minimum wage for a minimum wage job i.e. As an employee one can up-skill and make oneself harder to replace and a company will pay one such employee more. Or anyone can start their own business and be their own boss.

At the beginning of the 1900’s ES was the 5th largest producer of coffee, and it paid for the National Theater and Cathedral in Santa Ana.

@PilgartExplores2 жыл бұрын
They do buy a portion of their beans from this place, just like Starbucks, Tim Hortons buy from all over the world and do their roasting themselves. It well worth it to go see a coffee farm

Interesting video! Thank you for pointing out the hard labor and low pay for these workers. Unfortunately, given the low cost of labor it doesn't seem there is much incentive to modernize the process. Nonetheless it's definitely interesting seeing the process.

That's why there's so much disparity between the rich and the poor in ES. It's heartbreaking that the actual workers, the ones who keep production going only earn $10.00 a day. Ridiculous

Starbucks Coffee is really bitter. You can only enjoy it mixed with a lot syrup,ice,whip cream. Their straight coffee is nasty. A real good coffee is not bitter it is smooth and creamy

Starbucks over roasts all their beans the same so it’s a consistent taste. Definitely bitter and not enjoyable when it’s straight.

It’s crazy how little money this workers get paid for the amount of work they do, and so insane how the prices for regular basic household items are price as if people earn money like if they were in the United States
