I work a dirty job but with her non stop support I just got a huge promotion that they're transferring me for. When we have a few minutes to talk, she has the shower set up for me and clean clothes set out for me. I take 2 showers a day. One in the morning to help her wash her hair because she has fibromialga and getting up and moving first thing is hard for her. So I wash her and her hair and she leans on me. We do her morning stretching in bed because she gets really stiff while we sleep. She cuts my hair, I shave her legs, I make the money, she puts it where it needs to go. I don't have to worry about finances because she has a head for numbers and if she knows I need something she gets it. If she askes me to do anything at all I'm on it. I make sure there's time to make her feel beautiful, special, appreciated. Every two weeks I take her on dates where she gets to dress up and feel like a beautiful feminine woman and I'm lucky enough to have her on my arm. If I see something that needs to be picked up or cleaned, I do it because she won't get mad at me for not doing it the way she would. I will say, dishes are absolutely a me job becauseI'm to meticulous and I won't put my standard on her. I love every chance to make dinner with her because every time we pass I get a kiss. She has stepped in to help me take care of my brother and mother. I would walk through fire for my wife.

Years ago, where I worked, we were required to take time out of our work day to watch a video on “sexual harassment in the workplace” or something like that and take a test at the end achieving at least an 80% to pass. My supervisor kept asking when I was going to get it done, as I finding it difficult to find the time for it. Finally I submitted my results with score in the 90 something percent range. She said that she was glad I finally watched the video and got it done. I told her I didn’t watch the video, I just looked at the fact that the course was written by a woman, and answered each question knowing in each scenario it was the man’s fault. She wasn’t happy, but she just wanted the thing done, so she accepted it.🫤

I've always been 3rd string or lower when meeting a lady. They *NEVER* give 100% if we're going by my experience. There are those of us who work to keep society itself 100% standing and we barely even get noticed nevermind a "thank you" most days. He only starts to put in less effort when he notices that you are just expecting him to do what he’s been doing and you don’t return the same amount of effort. From someone who's been married 20 year's this past May 8th you need to show gratitude and respect to the man yoùr with. You also need to make sure you thank him even for the gestures you deem little. Men are Not our work horses. They work hard to make sure we have what we need..We need to make sure they're taken care of for their hard work. Yes. That means making sure they're fed well, their laundry is done, support them if they need anything and I mean anything. I make sure I thank my husband everyday for something. He's my best friend, partner in crime, the love of my life and on rough day's my reason for living. A Gestalt Entity that's greater than the sum of its parts. A powerful team that, if it's balanced right, achieves great things & gives you something greater than yourself.
