The question shouldn’t be is he a pro. It should be what will benefit his game the most: going to the NBA right now or staying another year in college?

What people forget is during the mcdonalds game he was one of the best players in it and showed out even better than people projected higher. He then had the heard issue, which is a big big issue and no human would come back from that feeling 100% confident even after all this time. Personally, I wouldnt want to push myself too much and just feel the game out and work on little things like being a better defender and increasing my IQ, etc. Once he feels super confident in his body he will be fine. Also, the team wasn't even constructed that well, or it wasn't coached well. The whole team didn't live up to their projected hype. The rest of them had more time than Bronny too. I also think he will do well in the combine.

The McDonald's All American game is a bad example simply because it's an exhibition game with no defense & player aren't trying foreal. Most of what you stated is "potential", the problem with that is everyone has potential. Most ppl don't get the excuses that some of you are using for bronny. In the famous words of Jerry West "at some point stats matter". No player with his stats has ever been considered for the NBA let alone drafted.

I’m going to continue saying my conspiracy theory. Bronny is really nice and he did not go all out for a multitude of reasons. One of them being he wants to be undrafted and take the Austin Reeves route where he will get drafted to the Lakers, be on the team with his father who will re-sign with the Lakers, retire with the Lakers as he wanted to, and leave his son in a culture and team that he believes in and respects and believes that they will take care of his son. in the meantime of being an undrafted player who will sign with the Lakers he will have mentors, one being his own father who is a savant. That way Bronny will have the opportunity to develop correctly and will become what Austin Reeves was supposed to be/and or is still attempting to be. My conspiracy theory for the day

I literally just told a friend last night high school ball is closer to NBA than college ball. We both agreed, there was no argument but its just interesting and ironic to hear someone else say it, especially with this being the first of your videos I've seen. As for Bronny, I wouldn't cast doubt so quickly. We've seen players with not much of a college career succeed in the NBA. And I don't equate success to championships, all-stars, all-pros and other awards per say. Success can be a 10-year career where you make an impact on each team you're on without being the best player on that team. You can wn 6th Man of The Year, DPOY, Most Improved and just contribute. That's not to say Bronny can't be a star. Obviously, he's learning from the best. We just haven't really seen much to say he will be a superstar. I'd like to see him play another year of college ball and enjoy his youth a bit more, ya know. But who knows? It may be a thing where the heart condition has him and his family feeling like life is short. LeBron's career clock is ticking and they would love to play together while they can

Look he has talent anyone who says otherwise is a hater cause at the end of the day he’s still a d1 athlete. I think he’ll be ready for the league in another year or two but…and i say this in the most respectful way possible. He is not ready whatsoever for the nba. Not a single part of his game separates himself from his peers in college. Not one. Imo this is nepotism at its most extreme.

This is the first time a guy can make the McDonalds All American team . Show out during the game . Then after a rough Freshman year . Forget the heart problems . People are asking if he’s a pro. Usually those guys always get the benefit of the doubt . Wrong situation , wrong coach ect .

Anxiety and mental health that come after something like that is more serious. If you haven't been in a situation like that you will not understand. I had a pulmonary embolism after hiking and busting my foot, and that messed with me for a LONG time. Took almost 2 years to get over the fear of whether I will be okay long term. Till this day, I still have some trauma from it when I get injured, but I have gone 6 years now without issue so I have learnt to put my mind in a better place.

I'm not understanding the argument that James and Watson both weren't made for the college game. The fundamentals of basketball are still the same regardless if it's NCAA or NBA. The main difference is the level of competition. So what specifically about James makes him not made for the college game?
@just-Just-it
@just-Just-it Ай бұрын
Good commentary and content video bruh. I 💯percent agree. Despite facing hate and criticism, the son of a legendary player has impressive physical attributes, such as a naturally muscular build, athleticism, high IQ, and long wingspan. He has been working towards a career in the NBA for some time, but his health condition affected his performance during his time at USC. He was on a minutes restriction and had to miss some games due to his condition. Moreover, he underwent open heart surgery, but despite all the challenges, he was able to come back and play this year, which is remarkable. I can't think of any college player who went through open heart surgery and returned to play in the same year. It's clear that his long arms and enormous wingspan compensate for his lack of height, making him a versatile player who can switch from positions 1 to 3 and even some smaller 4s in the NBA.

Easily Bronny, but he's got the genetics to play in the NBA. Friga doesn't have the durability or consistency to be a starter in the NBA, but if he took really good care of his body, went that extra mile to train like, let's say, a Kobe Bryant, he would definitely survive and be a good bench player.

Was vehemently against what Cel was saying until he presented his proof. Bronny obviously has an NBA-ready body like his dad did. He's got the attributes to contribute to a team in the NBA. The only thing that irks me is that he has not proven himself against the best in the country. There is a mental thing to this. That's just me, tho. I'm not the one playing D1 basketball.

Bronny James like his father is an great athlete that lacks the fundamentals to excel at the highest level... in the 2000s before defense was legislated out of the game that was the case Even with that he's the 8th leading scorer on his own team (4.8ppg / 2.3rpg / 2.8apg) on one of the worst teams in college😂 if anything he isn't ready for college, so how the hell is he ready for the league??? Thanasis Antetokonumpo is a better ball player than Bronny rn & thats saying something. He needs to stay in college
