The Alcaraz forehand is similar to Roger's and Rafael. He can smoothly blast it passed you, or he can muscle it. So much variety and consistency.

@Ian Novak I would say it is pretty close to federer's tbh

Don't be ridicilous, it has absolutely nothing common with Federer's forehand, first of all Federer has eastern grip and his forehand is absolutely different in motion, Rafa never hits forehand like Alcaraz, Rafa uses lots of topspin even when driving ball, Alcaraz forehand is his own and its unique, you guys either don't play tennis or don't watch enough tennis.
@razgriz1ne1ne48 Жыл бұрын
Similar take back, compact swing of Federer, similar acceleration and follow through of Nadal, has similar feel and accuracy and power redirection of Federer, similar topspin of Nadal with a dose of Delpotro power
@divinitymode93642 жыл бұрын
For me, the greatest forehand I’ve ever seen. The variety he gets with it - both spins and speeds - and then suddenly BOOM. The ferocity and grace of the acceleration is uncanny. He hit one at 107mph at the USO. Insane. And what’s worrying for the rest of the tour is he’s only going to get better.

He needs to stop trying to blast the ball though. Focus on hitting closer to the lines with precision. Federer in his prime would keep painting the lines ball after ball after on the forehand wing.

Alcaraz has great forehand, but not the best since Del Potro. It is not like when the ball comes to Alcaraz forehand, we would automatically think he will hit powerful winners. I will have that kind of thinking when it came to Del Potro's
