I would love to play poland more often, but they made it so RNG heavy (moldova, bohemia, wait time for the king elect) in the early game that getting the good starts makes you save-scum a lot and its really discouraging.

getting pu's (which are very overrated by people, in fact they are one of the worst subject types) isn't worth being stuck with one of the worst goverment reforms that you cant remove till 1610 at the earliest

It's completely RNG though, both in which Dynasty you get and in the point distribution. If you want to go ham with PUs, the generic elective (or Bohemian elective) are much better because you can choose.
