The difference is that gold is not a technology that is a threat to government and banks. Think about this for a second. The Ethereum Alliance is headed up by Microsoft, Intel, JPMorgan and now Visa is beginning to move their ledgers from the banks to the Ether blockchain. Will Cardano have those partners in a year? No. They never will yet youtubers shill bad investments to fill their pockets off of your backs… You see, the big company’s know where the smart- institutional money is going and are positioning themselves. They have vast data sets and time to know and control where the market will end up at. Those who invest in Cardano, Tron, Neo and EOS will be relegated to mere fraction of what one makes off of ETH or even BTC. These are ok products for small returns but will never command the market cap that ETH does.

Bitcoin isn't volatile.... the dollar is. 1 BTC is still worth 1 BTC since its inception. Can we say that about the dollar? $1 from 1913 to 2020 is worth ~$20 according to an inflation calculator. So, which one is really volatile? People need to stop looking at the price through the lens of the dollar. Everyone sees the dollar value of Bitcoin but don't realize that it's the dollar that is weak against BTC....that's why there are huge price swings. People also don't realize that every time they sell or buy crypto, they are expanding the current monetary money supply. If you know how the current monetary system works, that last statement will make perfect sense. If not, it will go over heads.I take the risk of lower prices on the short term for granted, knowing that the prices will be much higher on the long term. I am not taking the risk of not having invested what I could (because I was waiting for lower prices) and than not take full advantage of the bull run.There is a significant difference between stocks which can be based on professional advice held and currencies (cryptocurrency), and this is because most of them are hypes and highly speculative. I have made over $80,000 in the last two months day trading my BTC which I am sure would be a fantasy if I where hodling. I trade with a platform that is highly skilled in the cryptocurrency business, I was introduced by Mr Eric bishop, I am aiming for higher highs. he came up with the number based on the percentage ETH has compared to BTC. When BTC reached all time high in 2017, ETH was valued a little over 10% from the BTC value. so 10% from a 500k..BTC, takes you to prices of 50k+

How do you value Ethereum .... ??? How is it that the market is valuing Ethereum at 1.5 Trillion Dollars. If it doubled in value to $3000 the market would be 3 Trillion dollars. Think about this for a second. The Ethereum Alliance is headed up by Microsoft, Intel, JPMorgan and now Visa is beginning to move their ledgers from the banks to the Ether blockchain. Will Cardano have those partners in a year? No. They never will yet youtubers shill bad investments to fill their pockets off of your backs… You see, the big company’s know where the smart- institutional money is going and are positioning themselves. They have vast data sets and time to know and control where the market will end up at. Those who invest in Cardano, Tron, Neo and EOS will be relegated to mere fraction of what one makes off of ETH or even BTC. These are ok products for small returns but will never command the market cap that ETH does.

Bitcoin is by default not a store of value...as a store of value is something that has intrinsic value, AKA something that has value in and of itself OUTSIDE of being a currency. Gold and Silver have industrial properties and real value. Bitcoin is valued only as a currency. It has no value in and of itself. It was supposed to originally be "digital cash", to which other Altcoins surpass it. Monero is untraceable so it is more private. Digibyte is much faster and more decentralized, and most all other Altcoins are cheaper to transfer. So Bitcoin is overhyped both as a currency and is definitely not a store of value.

You cannot just create as many as you would like without cost like fiat money. No other cryptocurrency is as secure as Bitcoin. It employs the fastest computer on the plant to verify transactions. Stick with XRP and BTC as much as you can guys. If everyone sells when it starts to fall, which at one point it will, the dream may be lost because of it being too volatile for companies to get behind. just remember where it's going and don't be put off by short term fluctuations and don't facilitate this dream into becoming a nightmare. The problem with Bitcoin is that it's purely a long term value store. On Ethereum you can actually re-create the whole financial system, including banks, lending, borrowing, investing, CDPs, CDOs, etc. You can create games on Ethereum and literally EVERYTHING else than currently is running in the cloud - Netflix, Social Networks with ads monetization, etc. So Eth is inifitely more useful than BTC. Not to mention than Ethereum 2.0 should improve the transaction througput by a factor of x1000 and make the wasteful and environmentally-unfriendly Hash Mining obsolete (replaced by Proof-Of-Stake).

No transactions= no fees for miners So miners probably they will stop mine cause they will earn nothing considering the fact that mining will become harder by time..
