Almost all of recorded human history has its foundation in whole or in part from the Bible. History, Geology, Geography, Genealogy, etc, have been proven accurate time and again from scripture. The Bible is a mere "book". It's actually a reliable collection of historical documents written by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. You make a human analogy about rolling the stone away. Then use it repeatedly to expand upon what was written from the New Testament verse that you cited earlier. 1 Peter 3:15 KJVS But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: All of a sudden you’re turning things around to some type of confrontational debate where, the viewer would do well to buy your book so they can answer people’s arguments. Situation that they would not encounter if they would follow this advice given to them by apostle Peter. 1 Peter 4:15 KJVS But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. If you walk in the fruit of the Spirit, one of which is meekness, and be careful not to be a busybody in other men’s matters. You would have no use for your book of snappy comebacks. Most people are not called, and even then few are chosen. And not everyone is called to be an evangelist. Ephesians 4:10-12 KJ21 He that descended is the same who also ascended up far above all heavens, that He might fill all things.) [11] And He gave some to be apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, [12] for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ,

There doesn’t need to be scientific evidence. If God says something, he has a purpose. But: imagine finding a woman who values her purity and saves herself for her husband; and you being that husband. Wouldn’t you prefer that over a woman who had multiple sex partners? Intimacy is a cord (of many) that bind your hearts together. If you give your ‘sex’ away, you give a piece of yourself too, and can’t get it back.

Jesus never engaged in apologetics, nor did His Disciples. 1 Peter 3 was about living out the Gospel, even if it meant being persecuted, and being ready to explain why we are willing to be persecuted or die for our faith. It had nothing to do with “proving” or “defending” anything and everything to do with sharing it. God’s Word is the only authority so it does not logically track that it even needs to be defended by mere men. What it does need is to be shared and we need to be prepared to explain WHY it needs to be shared. In Acts 17:18-33 Paul was called on by philosophers to defend the faith. His answer was to acknowledge God as the all powerful Creator and explain why God created us which dovetailed right into the purpose of the Gospel and why it should be shared. It should be noted that when he finished sharing the Gospel, he left the Council rather than stay and debate with unbelievers. Those who accepted his message believed, those who rejected his message sneered at him but there was no debate or need for apologetics. Apologetics is a man made construct that says that men need to “convince” someone of the Truth rather than simply sharing it. It is essentially the denial of God’s sovereignty.

Greetings Mr. Ham. Thank you for your solid stand on Biblical Creation. I also have studied Apologetics. I asked someone to name a mistake in the Bible and he said that rabbits don't chew the cud. But I learned by studying Apologetics that rabbits have 2 types of pellets they excrete. One is feces and the other is food for them to eat! So, rabbits DO CHEW THE CUD! I am concerned about the Angel View of Genesis 6 and I wonder what your stance is on it. Did Angels procreate with human females before the FLOOD? Who are the "sons of God"? @@TheBibleDefenders (TLDR at the end) So, I've done some research on both stances of the argument and I have to say that they are both compelling I am still more inclined to believe in the "Sons of Seth" theory, just because I don't know how fallen angels and people would bear children as stated in Genesis 6:4 since I don't know how demons and people would work. Plus, I also would be a little surprised that they didn't try and stop Noah from rebuilding the ark (though you could make a strong argument for them just being satisfied with taking down the people they had corrupted at that time). Regardless, I think both theories have a bit of merit. Also, while we're on the topic of Genesis 6 theories, I had a random thought once that I think is interesting and I'm curious to see what others think: In Genesis 6:4, the Bible says that there were giants in the earth. If you follow that logic, do you think what built the pyramids were actually giants? I know there are scientific explanations for how they were built but I think the giants are another interesting take on the story. TLDR: I think both theories are plausible, and also what if giants built the pyramids 🤔

@@Just_A._Tablespoon The "sons of Seth is a contrivance of modern scholarship and not supported by the text, in my view. The book of Enoch is a good read on this subject. It should be in the cannon. How do we explain giants? Was Cain a bad guy all his life? Also saying that one bloodline of Seth were not to comingle with Cain's line is convenient for the haters who suggest marrying out of your RACE is bad. I highly reccomend watching Chuck Missler explain this topic. May God bless you on your journey in Jesus' name.

I do not believe in the angel view. It would either have to mean that God created angels to procreate-which there is no evidence He did. Or that satan has the power to create life, which we know he can't. The angel view, like so many others, are human beings trying to seem smsrter anf deeper than they are. It is clearly speaking of Seth's offspring as it follows his lineage in Chapter 5. As far as giants, we know there were giants because Goliath was one, as were his brothers. But the Bible never does explain how they came to be. The pyramids are no mystery when you consider the ingenuity of people pre-industrial revolution. Also, taking into consideration the Egyptians had millions of Hebrew (among others) slaves for hundreds of years, the pyramids would have been "easily" built. Deuteronomy 29:29 - The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

That is a very interesting statement and point of view. I do sincerely appreciate your willingness to share your thoughts. However one needs to interpret the word “Scripture” from your initial statement. If the Holy Bible is accepted as being scripture or The Word, the Christian faith has a firm foundation. If the Bible is not accepted as relevant and factual, based on historical and archaeological evidence, then one can come up with any number of theories and conclusions based on their own interpretation of the word “Scripture or Scriptures”.
