LOOK GUYS FF places are FRANCHISES AND COMPANY OWNED w crap food bad service and coke selling soda. FOR SAME PRICE i been to like Mint or city park or ma and pa's diner open in 1975 or hold in the wall mexican joint by family in gualamala . theres TONS these places in my town, along w a restraunt in the basement of a mini mall or all you can eat like chinese king or pizza ranch. ALL these places i go over and over again, like 3 pieces fish 2 sides and a salad fir 12.00 I RATHER give these ppl my money then spend 15.00 on a crappy hamburger,

Im not so sure about that. Pre 2020 I would go to McDonalds 3+ times a week. Now its barely once a month and only because I am at a location with little to no other options at the times. I suspect it had more with wages going from $8-9 per hour to $12+ per hour which I think is fair and a good thing. However as a Subway employee our truck order has nearly doubled in cost since 2019. Example a box of bacon was $48 in 2019 and the SAME box is now $87. Food cost and wage increase during essential workers is the reason. Assume that $12 in 2019 money is $20 now. Its really bad for us but the 2020 year cut our national debt in half just by inflation.

Usually Wages are not Tied to Inflation directly, and is rather a way used by companies to explain price raises because it means if you have more money, and you need something, they'll get more out of you. That and when it comes to Wages to Company Liquid Capital to be used. Wages isn't actually as big of an expense. Typically only 15-30% depending on Industry. Most of the expenses goes to buildings, projects, ads, and other things. Also Post 2020 There was a noticable Hike in McDonalds sales which corelated to them raising prices gradually do to the increase in sales.
