I’m pretty optimistic that Silver and Gold will go up in value. For me it’s savings because I’m terrible at saving cash. Plus cash is always depreciating. It’s hard to believe in the 1880’s a $20 bill was worth about an ounce of Gold.

I like gold because it's safer than silver. That being said, I think a diversified metal stack is the way to go! I own more silver than gold, platinum or palladium but gold is where most of my value is.

Depends how you’re investing. If it’s purely for a SHTF scenario, your better off with gold & silver especially constitutional 90% And 1oz silver eagles (mainly because people recognize them) stackers recognize all kinds of silver, and depending on your purposes for stacking, you might foresee different strategies. 🚀

I'm investing in silver not because of the $500 silver price that some claim will happen soon but because I have 100% confidence silver will hit its all-time high of $50 an ounce and at that price I can easily pay off my house so that's why I'm investing in silver and mostly all in on Silver because I know it's an appreciating asset with no counterparty risk.

So long as you're lucky enough to have a locked in interest rate note on the house around 3% and a job that compensates you for increased inflation, inflation alone may have the same effect of paying off your house without the need for silver.

Very wise not to take these $500 Oz silver predictions too seriously! Regarding conspiracy theories: there’s a lot of paranoia and unfounded nonsense out there but that said, we have perhaps been lulled into a false sense of security in the West : over 75 years of relative peace, and a huge increase in standard of living. It’s always wise to look at history and even the last few months in Eastern Europe to realise this doesn’t always last! Empires grow and fall, benign governments become more authoritarian, countries go bankrupt etc etc. Always good to hope for the best but try and prepare a little for bad times. Stacking G and S is certainly one way to help do this.

And without paying for the premium package the price stuff sells for seems what I can get it from ebay or from my local coin dealer, only I don't have to pay a membership fee. Forgive me for being unimpressed with other YT lay experts on macro and micro economics, financial systems, commodity markets, et al. who are dripping with "advertising payments" creating conflicts of interest: "Now's the time to buy . . . link's in the description!" You can even get a bullion credit card to buy gold and silver and add to existing unsecured debt. "Don't worry about premiums--gold and silver are REAL money."

It is a good thing to think. If you are thinking silver is going to zero or to $500oz, well, its good to have an opinion, to speculate and use your own brain and to think. Disagreeing with someone is also good as it means you have thought about their opinions and disagree and you have formed your own opinion, a step closer to enlightenment. I do not think any conversation should be off the table or censored, now and then i will watch a vid stating silver is going to the moon (and some claiming we never went to the moon, and some claiming the moon isn't even there lol) and i enjoy pondering such events, people do not have to be correct all the time, opening a discussion where people have their opinions and speculate should be fun, there is a generation that cannot cope hearing an opinion that is not their own and the words conspiracy theory is thrown about too much, we all have a brain and should be responsible enough to digest information for ourselves, and ive always said one persons truth is not necessarily someone elses. We should all enjoy the wealth of opinions and discussions on silver and come to our own conclusions and enjoy listening to someone elses conclusions even if they are a nutter and especially if they are a nutter.

Silver is easier for the average person to stack. Nearly everyone can afford to buy a coin or round per month. Gold is a bit more of an investment. I think silver is great because of relatively low price of entry. Trading up when able is great too.

Many YT gold and silver channels drip with conflicts of interest that capitalize on the good will they've earned from their audiences. The big online PM purveyors are greasing the palms of many. Recently, a gold/silver mining company has been cutting nice checks to content creators to host "interviews" with company reps.

Some have links to disclosure pages where the amount of each payment to the content creator is listed at the bottom. I've seen gold stock company payments ranging from several hundred to several thousand dollars multiple times in the past year. I think such videos should have a permanent title or caption that states something like "*Silver-Gold Forever Channel* is being paid $$$$ by XYZ to bring you this content."

@@davidk7324 Absolutely agree. In Silver Dragon's video on Pimbex, the only disclaimer is that some of the links in the description are affiliate links. I thought it was kinda stupid where he said "Free shipping on orders over $500, which is a great value!" Uh...no....no it's not. Considering all the places you get free shipping over $199, having to spend $500 to get free shipping is a freaking ripoff, not a "great value". I have the most difficult time with SD's channel, because he's so likeable, but he's such a dang shill and I think he tries to make it look like he's not being compensated. Basically, if he's advertising for someone, they're either silly expensive or have some other major flaw (like $500 free shipping). I think he uses "but everyone should shop around" as his caveat, but it seems a bit thin since he's already counting on people to buy what he's advertising; purely because he's the one advertising it. It's gotta be like shooting fish in a barrel. Have you ever seen him disclose advertising benefits?

The fed expanded the money supply by like 40% over the pandemic. Real rates are negative. I personally don't think the economy can survive higher interest rates, especially since we've had nearly 15 years of almost 0%. I think they will raise rates until the economy pops, then go back to QE / money printing. The bank of england already folded like a cheap suit bailing out the pension system. There has never been a better time to buy gold.

Of all the metals silver is the most electrically and thermally conductive of which there is no alternative, miners report it coming out of the ground at 7:1 with gold, it’s used in nearly all electronics and is discarded in landfill, demand is high, supply is low. Looks like it has potential to me.

@@ronvonbargen8411 If the ratio is 11 to 1 and silver having more applications than gold, a mathematician like myself would take the gold price and divide by 11 = 150 euro per ounce. That is pure logic. Copper is currently 0.2 euro an ounce and is 800 times more common than silver and everything copper does, silver does better. The copper to gold ratio is 8000:1 and this ratio is reflected in the price but somehow silver doesn't seem to obey this logic which clearly indicates manipulation.

You are very correct about the premiums on silver. It has affected my buying over the last 1 years and I have been collecting some silver but not really "stacking" it like I was pre-2020. I have switched most of my stacking budget to gold since the premiums are a lower percentage of cost than silver and I was low on gold in my stack anyway!

I see silver for collecting and gold for investing with a collecting element on coins. I don't think interest rates will be below 4% for decades without a big recession. Gold will have to then keep up with that to be worthwhile. And the only big moves on gold I expect would be from governments if tension continues to rise, and productive assets will continue to be the flavour of choice for investors over gold.

I'm a relatively new stacker so the current state of stacking is all I know. I subbed a lot of channels but eventually realized what they're all about, and unsubbed them for many reasons. Your comments on conspiracies is something I'm on the fence about. There are certain grains of truth to "conspiracies". But, the rabbit hole is deep. This is why I appreciate your channel. You have some opinions that differ from mine, and it helps to keep me grounded. Maybe you're right, maybe they're right. All I can do is source differing viewpoints, see where the evidence takes me, and make my best decisions, given the available information. There are far too many silver pumpers, doomsayers, etc. so your content is refreshing, informational, and more level-headed than much of the content out there. Cheers from Canada.

I live in the US ……. premiums on eagles got crazy so I started stacking queens beasts for 5$ an ounce over spot ……. So much cheaper and so much nicer coins, I love the chunky 2oz coins …….. almost proof like quality for not very high premium from my local dealer in north Florida……I have also noticed some have gotten very valuable …… I’m now stacking Tudor Beasts for the same premium hopefully the same will happen and increase in value over time…. Constitutional silver (qtrs, dimes, 1/2dollars, $1 Morgan and peace, generic silver, 5oz and 10oz silver, minimum kilo silver, American eagles, (expensive right now), maple silver, britannia silver oz, Phil harmonic silver, kangaroos silver oz, --- gold - 1oz American eagles, 1oz maples, 1 oz buffalos, 1/10oz, 1/20th oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz fractionals, and of course all the pre-33 American gold coins 1oz and fractionals. Balance is key

I've just read on Kitco news that 341 tons of gold have been bought this year by just the normal bloke, up 28% from last year while ETFs have seen the contrary. I therefore understand why the premiums are so high in gold and silver and if you take away paper gold and silver then the price of these two metals should be way higher then they are.

Hey! Learning a lot from you, I have a question - you said some mints will not be relevant in some time, I am just wondering why. People say gold is gods currency, and in my view from learning you "stack" gold so in time, you can sell, and institutions will buy it to melt it and use it since gold will not be here forever, so what does the coin really matter if it's just going to be used for other uses? Gold is gold. Will appreciate the help in understanding. Thanks!

Best deal I'm finding right now is $1.99 over spot for 100 oz bars. Would you buy those, or are 100oz bars too difficult to sell? Would you stick with smaller bars and rounds, even if they have double that premium?

My plan: stick to gold for preserving wealth, and while shopping I'll probably see a nice silver coin or ten I really like and because I am mentally a child but with money, I won't be able to control myself.

Just checked and apparently if silver grew at 4 to 5% annually, it would take 10 to 15 years or so to reach around the levels seen in 2011!

Interesting take. I remember feeling a certain way about crypto in 2017/2018. Moving into 2020, a lot of new people entered the space with the same mentality that seems to be plaguing the silver community right now as well. Everyone is forgetting that these assets are not units of debt. They are hard, physical resources. There is real value in the metal. The debt market is becoming more and more illiquid every single day, and the same goes for registered ounces vs. paper contracts. Hold your physical, but don't expect it to be worth more money; it is money.
