So enjoyed your cruise upon the Mariner. I’m a Crown&Anchor Diamond member who also loves sailing w/ RCCL. I’m currently looking into a quick weekend getaway come December and seeing your vacation has definitely made up my mind to do it. I always sail their much longer cruises. Considering I’m in NY I’d have to fly down to Florida. But w/ the quotes I’m b seeing on their weekend getaways are so worth it. Thanks for your honest reviews, Dev and Bianca! Esp this cruise - I'm taking my mom on this exact itinerary in March and it'll be her first cruise. I'm so glad I can share your videos with her to give her an idea of what to expect of the very ship she'll be on! It's good insight in general but I also love that you shared what we can do if we have some inclement weather and show how much there is to do to still have fun. Channel 1, for the cheesy Royal Caribbean soap Orpah, got it. 😉 Dev, I truly enjoy and appreciate seeing the cruise vids with one of my favorite YT couples. I plan to be on Mariner of the Seas for a Star Trek cruise in February 2024. So, it is very informative to see your cruise on the Mariner, but I have a feeling that when Star Trek takes over the ship, it will be a totally different experience then when you and Bionca cruised. Thanks for all the advice on the food and bars, entertainment and the hidden gem in the gym. I do admire how you guy even work out when you're on vacation. Kudos!! I enjoy Royal Caribbean, I've sailed on Wonder and Freedom of the seas. I like the windjammer for breakfast, dinner was a hit or miss but I would occasionally eat at the main dining. I did room service twice and it can be pretty costly so if the windjammer has heavy traffic in the morning, my friends and I would pick something up their and bring it back to the room. I did the specialty dinning on freedom of the seas because they were running a special and I like chops and the hibachi, great food and atmosphere. I'm glad you guys enjoyed yourselves and great vlog.

My husband and I love Royal for all the reasons you mentioned. We were on Mariner for a 6 night cruise in July and had the best time. We are also heading to Alaska in 2024!

If it’s a sea day I would do total relax , extra sleep in sit on the veranda for a while maybe go to a movie. I guess we have our own way of doing a sea day

Did you purchase an excursion to go to Margaritaville Resort or just buy a day pass when you arrived? If so, how much was it?

I didn’t book it through the cruise line. I just walked over to the beach at the resort and I asked the very nice employee if there was anything available to rent for the day and she took care of the rest. I paid $66 to rent the sun bed for the day.
