Brother Mari you are factually wrong in several areas. I cannot cover them all … 1. The Gospel of John is not an eye witness testimony. It is an anonymous book that was later given the title of “The Gospel According to John” 2. The Quran never says Jesus was “replaced” or that Judas took his place. Rather the Quran confirms that it was not the Jews that killed him but “rather it was made to appear so”….(there are many theories on what happened exactly but nobody truly knows except God) 3. The Quran was not written 200 years after Muhammad that is an absurd claim and definitely not the scholarly consensus even by non-Muslim scholars. 4. The Quran’s position is that guidance and salvation do not rely on the crucifixion. Salvation is from God alone and not subject to us solving the ancient mystery of what happened to Jesus (as).

Surely the actions of the human authors of the bible could not have planned ahead for the never ending trial of the bibles credibility, doesn't the bible say that all men lie? Yes it does, contradiction upon contradiction upon contradiction. I do not say these things to discredit the bible, however how could a rational thinking human being believe such writings when it has so many holes in it's credibility that people compare the bible with swiss cheese. The same can be said of any religious tome. It's nothing to do with which religion but the humans that invented it. "Faith" the answer to all unanswerable questions regarding religion, how could a rational thinking human being have faith in the word of human authors that write a book that says "All men are liars?" This is what I struggle with every time I consider religion. Could god not have scribed the bible onto the heavens for all to see with their own eyes as the irrefutable word of our creator? I wish to believe, want to believe, even long to believe in god. But would god create 400 religions and then instruct his priests to ridicule and discredit "false religions?" If god made us in his image would religion go against every rational line of thinking for human thought? From the outside looking in, devoid of blind faith in the face of irrational unnecessary and plain dumb self contradiction, religion appears to be a means to an end for the people who participate in it. The idea of who we should believe, Muhammed (pbuh) or John, is not logical. He is saying John witnessed Jesus(pbuh), he had written what he saw etc. But Muhammed (pbuh) came after 600 years so he cannot know the truth about what happened to Jesus(pbuh) . Man, what Muhammed (pbuh) says is the words of Allah(swt). We believe that Allah(swt) is telling us what happened to Jesus(pbuh). I was a Muslim, I live in algeria, I left islam when I was 12,now I'm 19 almost 20, I never told anyone that I left islam, why? I don't wanna be killed or disowned, I even attend mosque on Fridays, I'm working hard and studying hard to leave this country and the Islamic nation behind, yet I'll keep my apostasy secret, cause I don't wanna ruin my relationship with my parents knowing that they won't accept me as one of their own if they knew, I was 12 years old when I could understand the truth yet adults can't, I'm not actually Christian but I'm learning more about it, and even though I don't find Christianity 100% realistic, it does make more sense than Islam , and for those who would say I wasn't faithful as a Muslim, I have memorized over 50%of the Quran and a lot of hadith at a young age so I'm more knowledgeable in Islam than 99% of Muslims. Once I told an Iman (Islamic priest) about some mistakes in the Quran (different sentences in hafs and warsh, that change the hole meaning and not just the reading, which the Quran say that it is protected and what's written on it can't be changed.) so that imam called my father to tell him that I need some restrictions, and my dad threaten me that he will kick me out if I ever said anything again about Islam and that we are not allowed to think about anything beyond what the Quran and the prophet said, the same prophet that married a 6 year old and had sex with her as 9 yo, the same prophet that killed people whom were Protecting their land from Islam and sell their wives as se×slaves, then will ask there kids to become Muslims because Islam is so peaceful, so peaceful u'll get killed if u leave it, so peaceful, if u survived Islam Expansions, you have to pay the Islamic state to live in your country as a non Muslim or else you'll get killed, so peaceful it is prohibited to keep a Muslim slave but normal to enslave a non Muslim and take his wealth because you are his Muslim owner, so peaceful you are allowed to keep sex slaves and kill them if they obey. So why not becoming a Muslim? I mean there is 72 virgin waiting for u in heaven. Did I mention that you not just allowed but encouraged to beat your wife. Anyway for all my fellas Muslims out there, I just want you to use your brain, the Islamic ideology is locking you in this 600 ad mentality and Islam is just some random thing made by a random dude in Arabian desert. I want you to understand the Quran instead of just reading it. Finally I'll say : read the Quran and u r a Muslim, understand the Quran and u r an ex Muslim.
