Well those who will hear those words are going be the false preachers, the ones who were teaching a false doctrine, won't be for the saved but for the ones who teach, example is it says have we not prophesied in your name, and in thy name cast out demons, and in your name done many wonders, and he will declare to them I never knew you depart from me you who practices lawlessness. Only priest ministers pastors cast out demons. Only prophets, declare what is God's will, not the actual congregation. So people need not fear unless they are teachers of scripture. This is the strickness scripture references of those who teach. We who teach will be judged more strictly.

When comes to scripture we should interpret scripture with scripture, not ones belief, or feelings of what it says but what it teaches. So I want to be correct when I correct ministers. I don't correct those who don't know but those who know then twist scripture. I heard my dad talking in his sleep moaning about nashing of teeth. So made me study scripture way more closely in these last 5 years after his death. My dad was a minister. When I study scripture, Jesus says like Jonah we will spend 3 days and 3 nights in belly of the earth, then judgement. So with this reference we go to hell after death, cause in God's eyes we are like filthy rags, but thru Jesus we are saved. After reading Enoch, I came conclusion scripture is clear and true, and imo Enoch proves this with his writing. After hearing those words my dad muttered in his sleep made me think more about what scripture says and not what I believe it says.

I was a member of this “Ministry Group” for a number of years! It is a group of about 6 pastors and their wives preach also. The original foundation Jesse Duplantis, Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland, Jerry Savelke, Oral Roberts (deceased), Kenneth Hagin(deceased), and new ones added. They all own multiple mansions, multiple jets, utility companies, record labels, write books, conferences, speaking engagements, and fleece their congregants!! I was a member for about 8 years before I came to my senses!

For those looking for a church remember this: you’ll never find a perfect church have grace like God had grace on you. Make sure they preach Jesus and they focus on discipleship (not discipleship classes where they pair you with a stranger) but the whole church is brought up in how to be discipled and disciple others. Make sure they preach repentance and faith and telling others to turn to Jesus

I have been aware of Jesse duplantis for at least 30 years. From day one I knew he was one of those prosperity preachers. I tried to tell my sister-in-law that for many years. Up until a couple years ago she was mesmerised by him. She was on disability barely making it and sent him money all the time including Creflo Dollar which is another prosperity minister. They used to hide it a lot more but now they're just right out front with it and they don't care. They will have to answer to God for this.

I work so hard and I’ve been born again for close to two years now. Every penny I earn goes to taxes and to the rest of my bills. And I can’t afford health insurance while my teeth are falling apart and I can’t afford to go to a dentist or to a doctor. How nice for this preacher to have so much money. I have no idea what I’m going to do to keep on going but I’m trusting in the Lord with all my heart. This “prosperity” stuff is so worldly it makes me sick.

Do you live in Appalachia? Your circumstances are a result of wrong and unwise choices and decisions. You now need to go to college and get a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. While doing that, you need to get several jobs or learn a trade such as plumbing, auto mechanics or electrical work. You qualify for Obama care so it’s not clear why you don’t have medical insurance. In the meantime you need to get a job that offers medical and dental insurance. Hopefully you don’t have any children.

I went to see him as a guest preacher at a church I was attending, and I was expecting a sermon, and from the minute he opened his mouth till he left the building. He talked about his jet that needed repaired so he can fly in his private jet, so the church asked for a love offering to give to him money to fix his jet, I was disgusted and nearly got up and walked out, but refused to listen to anything else. He said, that’s all he did was brag, brag, brag, brag, brag, brag, brag brag about everything that he had, and how much it cost, but he needed that personal jet fixed don’t bother listening to a sermon because I don’t think he gives one. By the way, he was an area that is the poorest section of town and where the average income in a year is only $24,000 a year. I would really like to know how much he got from these poor people.

What's really strange about Jesse Duplantis is he was in a very successful hair band called Summer Wine back in the 1970s. He quit and gave up his career and all of his wealth when he got saved while watching Billy Grahm in his hotel room after a concert. His old sermons are very sincere, and Bible based, but clearly at some point he went off the rails. He used to visit our church for conferences, but eventually he was no longer invited. It's so sad to see someone who once gave up his pride and worldly lifestyle to becoming a fallen preacher that is leading people in the wrong direction. I pray for him and his ministry regularly, but I certainly don't watch his sermons or send him in his money.

Thats what I figured. The church I currently go too. Looks up to Jesse, Kenneth Copland, TD Jakes, Hillsong, Bill Winston and others. But mainly Planetshakers(PS Russel Evans), & CRC South Africa(PS At Bashoff). They want to be a Megachurch and consider themselves one even though I dont but 5000 members is pretty big I guess. I dont know why though when megachurches are not a proper example of Christianity. Reading the Gospel never gave me a prosperity or wealthy mentality. It gave me far more of a humbility & humility spirit. I cried out to the holy spirit and asked for a real book of acts holy spirit filled church and he brought me to a prosperity megachurch... why? I Spoke in tounges for the first time here. I was healed from psycosis and we save so many souls and have a heart for the broken. Idk what to do.

Ten years ago as a baby Christian I used to listen to Jesse DuPlantis and loved listening to him because he WAS very entertaining and very funny. But it didn't take too long to realize he was a false preacher and I haven't listened to him since. But YES, he is (or was) VERY entertaining. Seems he has been anointed by the Enemy to be very funny and get a lot of followers. (Back when I was listening to him, it didn't even seem to be about money -- at least not that I can remember.) My father was pretty much anti-Christian but joined a church called "The Church of Religious Science" in Denver. The "pastor" seemed like a really nice guy, but that is NOT enough. I went with the family a few times to the services and it was ridiculous -- prosperity gospel all the way. People in the congregation dressed up to show how wealthy they were -- mink stoles and mink coats, jewelry, etc. It was disgusting. Oh, and by the way, my dad never got prosperous, though he tried that church and "positive thinking" like Normal Vincent Peale, and like affirmations of "The Secret." He tried hard, even became a member of the board at that church. He just refused to turn to Jesus and it was a sad, sad story that ended in his suicide.

Been watching Jessy's sermons for over 2 years now, his sermons are funny and quite revelatory. In one of the sermons he mentioned that he had silently spent more than $100M for spreading the gospel. Provided his net worth is ~$40M now, if one had $140M and spends 70% of it for the gospel, I don't think I'd have the right to judge him since giving away 70% of what we own is something most of us won't do. I'm just having an open mind without any bias towards the preacher. The flexing on its own can seem wrong when we remove the message being preached. If he is working the Solomon's wisdom while having David's heart, Lord would be pleased, the Lord alone knows where his heart is.

I think of John the Baptist and Paul when he was in prison. Their contentment. God was all they needed. We should follow their teaching as well. Christ however is the epitome of contentment and sacrifice. He was born in a manger, rode a donkey, and worked as a carpenter. It seems like we only hear one of two things: either prosperity preaching, (sow a seed, get money) or blubbering self denial ( I had an opportunity to better my living conditions, but I threw it all away because I’m a Christian, praise the Lord) either way it amounts to pride. It’s never about God giving us what we need to carry out His will in our lives. If we need a lot, so be it. If we don’t need much, so be it.

The bible says that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous, but we are not to flaunt it, or boast about, or make others feel bad because we have it. God wants us blessed, so that we can be a blessing. Having money is not evil, but the love of it is.

"you mean I can have nice things, be cool and still serve God?" some ignorant young fool perhaps ... would it be worth it then? ... if its the very thing that leads to their redemption?... is it possible this message wasn't for every person or the people who would be so shallow to let this one man determine their analysis of Christianity, as to not take it seriously? From what I see in this video, I see I wasn't missing anything at all. I knew about Jesse Duplantis peripherally and thought he was a funny guy who liked to preach. Nick, keep on with the gospel bro. Just as a point of note, as a Nigerian I would caution against the "starving children in Africa" trope. One, it is literally not the case - those starving masses would have resulted in mass hunger deaths by the millions, which we would surely all see on the news. It is a myth. It also does more harm than good, in terms of people understanding what Africa actually is like. Of course, the point you are conveying is there are underprivileged elsewhere in the world - and frankly the pastor's doorstep right in the U.S. - so this outlandish display of wealth really reflects greed on the highest levels and is not supported in scripture.
