In fact I have heard him say it’s not easy to Christian. That ur problems will not be solved w Christianity. I think this is an important point that should be made. I like his honesty. He speaks of giving ur life to Jesus. I think this is important.

I’m so glad that in 2021 when I first heard about him, I only watched his first sermon and that was it. So many things about him quench the Holy Spirit. It’s sad that so many people are on his bandwagon. But I pray that God will reveal to them how they are being led astray. Remember Gods spirit departed from man when sin began increasing, it shows us God doesn’t dwell where sin is gen 6:3 “my breath will not always remain with man” Also good to know that God came down in order to be an example for us on what to do & how to live righteously. It’s like a father wanting you to walk in his footsteps & being a physical example. The disciples didn’t always catch on to the things Jesus said when he was here but even they knew John 20:28, John 21:17 Also noting that Jesus himself declared it to Philip when he didn’t believe John 14:8-11. The father is in Jesus & Jesus is in the father, the same way that the word was in God & the word was God (John 1). The word then became flesh (John 1:14) Scripture never lies because God never lies.

I can testify that being drawn to Jesus in late 2017 and finally being born again in mid 2018. For about a year after My wife and I watched him, and steven furdick alot. At the time I remember something was off put but I didn't understand it this way. It wasn't until we went on a trip to Idaho and decided to attend a church while we stayed their on a sunday morning I realized it was the holy spirit directing me away from a false teacher. I experienced this type of message in person from a small town church. The months following I've been exposed to ministries like this from Costi Hinn. I originally saw him on American Gospel but wow was this a powerful truth to learn. I'm so thankful for the faithfulness of God through the Holy Spirit to nudge me away from such teachers even when I was ignorant or uninformed. Thank you for posting this. It's been a hard road to speak to other fellow Christians in warning them about these types of false teachers.

As a Christian on a journey to personally know God and His Word, and in the process of discipleship, I understand where Michael Todd is coming from. What we see in his sermons today is the result of years of growth and dedication, things that weren’t visible when he first answered his calling. Michael often reminds us that the platform he has now is a blessing from God, a reflection of the overflow of his obedience. He preaches with authenticity and doesn’t hold back, aligning with what the Bible tells us about imperfections and even with that we are still loved and can be transformed if we repent. Mike Todd has been one brave Pastor who can use his OWN story to show you how God can literally redeem your life and it’s never too late. None of us are perfect-only Jesus is. Pastor Mike uses creative methods in his sermons to spread the message effectively, which makes sense in today’s culture where many struggle to truly engage with the Word. His approach is simply part of his unique calling. God wouldn’t have blessed him with this platform if he wasn’t anointed. As Christians, we shouldn’t be quick to label others as “false prophets”-only God can make that judgment. We each have a purpose, and this is his. When you’re called by God, spiritual warfare increases, including opposition from people. Yet God elevates those He has chosen and that’s exactly what he is doing in his life that is why he has no time to respond because that’s him going against God’s will. I know this because being on this journey authentically,reading and being immersed in the word everyday I get a vivid understanding of how living in the word is. Instead of focusing on judgment, we should focus on God’s Word, which helps us discern the truth. Many rely on limited knowledge or social media opinions, but the Bible holds the answers to life. Let’s stop judging others who have different callings and remember that God loves us all equally.

Here’s the thing: I have an uncle who was a known meth-user since the year prior to my birth (1983). My entire family who was steeped into church had given up on him, didn’t want him NEAR us. He robbed, stole and assaulted so many people. Well guess where he is now? He’s the HEAD Deacon of a church in Washington D.C. and owns TWO businesses. Apparently, Mr. Todd started visiting/volunteering at the prison ministry where he was… Todd spoke life into him, challenged him and continued to visit him & helped him to get on his feet. Yes, this young, black, educated fella became a mentor and spiritual inspiration, to a METH-head who was 29yrs his senior. You people may MEAN well but you would be better served, removing the moat out of your OWN eyes first. NO being on this planet is without fault. But I pray for this young brother that Heaven used to save my uncle’s life (and one day, his death).

It strikes me as unusual for a so-claimed minister of the gospel to speak negatively on another minister whom he has no profound relation with. I do not agree that it is the Father’s heart to blaintly call out someone by name as False teacher, publicly humiliating them online and disregarding the fact that they are a human being first before a minister. If they Are in the wrong and unaware of it, this is not the way to go in my opinion. I for one can attest to the fact that God Almighty has in fact used imperfect Mike Todd, my brother in Christ, to allow for real transformation to transpire in my life and that of many others. Transformation that has led me to my knees and to the Cross! His humorous personality has been a source of joy and his transparency/vulnerability, a refreshment to the soul. My suggestion is to pray for ministers we believe may be at fault for anything, to build sincere relationship with them if we care enough to reach the point of correcting, and stick with discouraging a closer circle of "sheep" of certain ministries (if need be) as a form of pastoral counselling. Mike Todd is a public figure on Christian platforms so when he does blasphemous acts like the spit scene and so many others. Should as Christians we not call him out on it because he is a "pastor". People who are newly saved will think this is okay which it is not. Especially when Mike called out privately but doesn't seem to care and keeps getting worse. The Bible speaks on people who mock God. The God says in the Bible my people will perish because of lack of knowledge. The more read the Bible the more gain spiritual knowledge to see that Mike Todd's preach at this point are not inspired by the holy spirit. God's word is sufficient and doesn't need Mike Todd's drama to make it powerful. What does scripture because scripture shows God's heart no your feelings. I agree that calling someone out as false teacher is a harsh statement to make but there many verses and passages where false teachers are said to come. Yes they are human but they carry the responsibility of a congregation on their shoulders. A pastor's position is a dangerous to be in because when he stands before God he's held accountable for his sermons and what he said about God. Or as James warns us that not everyone should become a pastor in Chapter 3.

My comment on Costi Hinn: Gal.6.1:- Dear brothers and sisters, if another Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. (NLT) Gal.6.1:- Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day's out. (MSB) I believe this scriptures should speak to our hearts. We should be careful on the way we approach this issue of false teaching. Jesus Christ never calls a man to expose another man. Our main job is to make disciples (students) of all nations, not make haters of other men. We have had enough of pastors preaching against other pastors on their pulpit instead of the Word of God which changes lives and works wonders. Jesus Christ strictly warns against judging another person because we are not holy ourselves (Matthew 7:1-5). Instead of wasting much time condemning the actions of another person, why not spend that time working on your own actions which are imperfect (Matthew 7:3-5)? Romans 3:10-18 (KJV) declares, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Romans 1:21-32 KJV adds, ”Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. It is God who appoints people to do His work, not you. And God chooses whoever he wills. God is not restrained by your opinions, emotions or sentiments. He will use whoever He wants to use to do whatever He wants to do whether you like the person or not. Settle that in your heart. God's ways are higher than yours. God does not even see most of the things we argue about in Christianity. We argue about dress codes, hairstyles, tattoos and other controversies that are just distractions from the Great Commission. We should pray for all men, not argue about men. We should focus on the gospel, not on controversies. And speaking on the gospel, Paul the Apostle had this to say: “Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: but the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, according to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.” (Philippians 1:15-20 KJV) So now I leave you to your heart. Your focus should be that Christ is preached and souls are saved. No matter the denomination or mode of preaching of the person, whether Orthodox or Pentecostal, Adventist or Eucharist, if the message leads people to Christ then you should have no problem with the person. No matter the dress code of the person preaching or the way the person preaches, we should be sure that the person is preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Once we are sure that the person is preaching the gospel, we should leave him to God. Attempting to judge the person is taking the place of God. And God will not share his place with anybody. This is exactly why, Christianity is always highly scrutinized. Because in no other religion do you see one person tearing another person down, and pass it off as “wisdom” to help people. Because this notion that people change people and that God is a by-product of that person is what has us stuck. Stop being God, make the difference in your community, city, state. And let God take care of the rest. I don’t understand how believing that Jesus died so I wouldn’t like a thing on Earth is wrong? His message about vision was revelation that he got from the word and shared and I could agree. I have tried & tried to get our now former Pastor to understand this about IF Gathering speakers condoning Latasha Morrison & many other social justice vs Biblical justice lovers. I am in the same boat....I go to a baptist church and have been going for awhile with my husband to see how things go but we aren't members. It's been very hard to find a church home. the churches we've been to either have unsound women Bible studies or the church is literally dying, there is no one our age at all. most are 70 and older. what do we do about it? really discouraging

For us top priority: “Do they handle the Word rightly?” There’s a good possibility we may end up at a church with the majority quite a bit older than us as well. But…I would say…there are MANY others in the same boat as us who will be trying to find a church who shepherds correctly. The true Christians will be looking for a real church. It may be little by little but I do believe this will happen. So those little churches preaching the Word right, will grow with the right people. I’d rather be in a church where they obey God & not have all the bells & whistles than to disobey God. I believe we can fully embrace our new church family of different ages if we are all standing on the Word of God together. 🙏🏻 Praying you find a good church home too.

@@BeksWorld I believe that the Church will go "underground" in near future. There were no big cogregation Churches in the New Testament, all home gatherings. Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well that one day and this day has come that man must worhip the Father in Spirit and in Truth (not at this mountain nor the Temple.) To me that has insenuated that we are not confined to buildings/temples/synagogues plus since the Holy Spirit has came down from heaven, we are now His temples that live inside of us. I agree with everything in the video. Completely agree. But I am nervous for this video series. You are placing yourself in an authoritative position by creating a series like this. This isn’t a bad thing necessarily, but I pray you feel the weight of it. These videos will cause division. I pray the division is good, necessary, and from God. But please, please be careful as you create this series. It’s not hard to create a highlight reel of bad moments from any preacher in the spotlight. A bad moment doesn’t mean someone is a false teacher. A disagreement over tertiary issues doesn’t mean someone is a false teacher. I trust God has led you to create this series of videos. I just ask along with my brothers and sisters that immense prayer and counsel goes into each takedown. Unity in the Church is one of the most common themes of the New Testament. There are times to disrupt unity, but you must be CERTAIN that your disruption is an edifying act.

It is necessary to warn Gods people of false teaching, but I also notice that so many Christian’s have this desire to see other “Christians” exposed or torn down. We have a taste for controversy that I’m sure the Lord is in pleased with. Something I’ve had to repent of myself. Lord give us wisdom and grace to do and say what pleases you.

So much respect for brother Costi! I myself was inbolved in a health and wealth, name it to claim it, works based, prosperity gospel teaching, narcigeses, new age CULT, for almost 2 decades and i myself was helping in leading ppl astray. I loved the women and children I taught, but because of MY IGNORANCE, I twisted scripture and the Lord drew me to Himself and i repented after seeing the ERRORS of my ways. Ive since made amends with some of those ppl that i mislead and shared THE GOSPEL with them. Repent and believe in Jesus. Nothing more, nothing less. Our job now is to share the gospel, and warn ppl of sin and hell, but ALSO to warn them about false teachers and all those that abuse and misuse the Gods word for wrong reasons and all those that practice hiduism and new age nonsense yet call it the Holy Spirit. (because hinduism and charismatic churches look EXACTLY the same). They're teaching and leading soooo many ppl astray and its a shame.

I have a similar story. I was taught the Kenneth Hagin version of then prosperity gospel. I have repented of it and am so sad that I spread it in ignorance. I thank the Lord Jesus that He has opened my eyes. My family is still stuck in it but they won’t listen to me. I think my mom might start to listen soon. She is starting to listen to some sound teachers I send her. She is the one who showed me Kenneth hagin, I pray that the Lord opens her eyes.

I love your explanation at the beginning of the video on why we call our false teachers. We don’t take pleasure in these things, but Jesus loves the church! We should love the church, and from that stand firmly for the truth. This simply includes discussing whose ministries to stay away from. I hate the direction Michael Todd has taken recently on *obvious sin.* Edit: Unfortunately Mike Todd has worsened his case with that Easter service this past week…

The Apostle Paul pronounced a curse on most churches today because the main Christian denominations of today preach a different gospel than what Paul preached. To quote exactly what Paul said, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8). Both apostle Paul and Peter preached the same gospel and quote from the prophet Joel (2:32) saying, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of Yahweh shall be saved." (Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21). The English translations say “Lord” instead of “Yahweh.” But “Lord” does not translate “Yahweh” it is a substitution of a totally different word altogether. This substitution activates two additional curses because if you substitute a word you are both adding and subtracting at the same time. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18, 19) We are commanded by Messiah that, “...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:47). In other words, we are supposed to preach the gospel that came out of Jerusalem and not preach the gospel that came out of Antioch, or Rome, or England, or New York, or Chicago, etc. By the time the gospel got to Antioch it had already been perverted as we read, “...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26). The problem with this is that YHWH spoke of a people called by His name (Deuteronomy 28:10; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 43:6, 7; Daniel 9:19; Amos 9:12; Acts 15:17). YHWH did not choose the name “Christian” for Himself. The people of Antioch chose that name and all the so called main denominations of today embrace that name “Christian” for themselves. When Peter and Paul preached the gospel they quote the prophet Joel, “Whosoever shall call on the name of YHWH shall be saved.” (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13). The English word "Lord" is not a translation for the name YHWH but is a substitution. I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none! “Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He comes shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.” Some people say that they are watching all the time but they overlook verse 38. “And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.” (Luke 12:37-38). Under normal circumstances people are sound asleep during the second and third watch. Therefore Luke 12 is not talking about watching in a figurative way. The LORD is talking of a literal watch. There are appointed times in the scriptures for us to fulfill a literal watch. In fact, all of the appointed times of holy convocations (moedim) listed in Leviticus 23 are watches and vigils of Yahweh. Each one of them are fulfilled by both an Old Testament and corresponding New Testament historical event. In other words they will be assembled together in a holy convocation and not out and about driving cars and flying airplanes. Like the 120 were assembled in the upper room Acts chapter 2 for the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost). Unfortunately, because of a man-made ecclesiastical calendar many will not be watching at the appointed time when He comes.

I hope you give whichever political candidate you didn't vote for a call before you publicly criticize their policies. I hope you spoke personally to Ted Bundy before you rightly condemned his murders. I hope you personally called the local Imam to tell him you don't agree with Islam before you ever speak about your disagreements with Islam. I hope you personally called the head of the Mormon church before you discuss how Mormonism is not compatible with biblical Christianity. I hope you called the denomination next door to your church before you openly discuss your disagreement with them on matters of baptism and church polity. I hope you emailed Costi to talk with him about the proper way to call out false teachers before you made your comment. The biblical mandate to go to a brother in love is restricted only to brothers in the faith. If you don't believe someone to be a brother on the ground of them preaching a false gospel, you have no obligation before God to go to them, but you do have an obligation to tell people that he does not preach the truth.

Thank you for doing this. False teachers are indeed looking for biblically illiterate, itchy-eared people, but those teachers are so successful and able to fill up megachurches for a reason- itchy-eared people don't want to hear the truth and are actively looking for teachers who will suit their own passions and scratch their itches. (2 Tim. 4:3) It's supply and demand. Let's pray that God in His mercy continues leading His own out from under this deception. He is the Good Shepherd.

3:55 Although in some instances I think that reenacting the actions of God can be seen as disrespectful. I do believe it is easy for our own flawed bias to pick and choose what actions we deem worthy to mimic. For example a children’s play about Jesus, and calling a women a literal dog are weighed far differently in society. I wouldn’t feel worthy to spit in my hands and repeat the actions of God to those who ask, but at the same time I’m not a pastor yet. Some are more anointed to speak on certain topics than others, so why are we casting stones as if we ourselves haven’t misrepresented God and his teachings at different stages in our life. It’s like telling Micheal Jordan not to dunk from the free throw line because I myself can’t jump that far, and due to him only dropping 40 points last game instead of 42, I decided to bench him for the season. As for the message itself instead of nasty he could’ve used intense, difficult, uncomfortable, or abstract. However in my opinion because I was able to draw those words, and take away the lack of comfortability that is inevitable when pursuing a relationship with God, the overall message is still received. I’ve only listened to a handful of his sermons, but on a scale of merit and intentions, I believe he’s doing more for the Kingdom than the average person.

“I pray that you may prosper IN ALL THINGS, even as your soul prospers” - 3 John 1:2 If a preacher is teaching and preaching the gospel of Christ and helping believers experience “progress and joy in the faith” - Philippians 1:25 pls do not call them false teachers When Paul spoke on false teachers in the book of Galatians, over multiple chapters, he spoke about people that “added” to the gospel of Christ, that you should be circumcised or you attain salvation by works etc If a pastor (ie a shepherd) tells his congregation that it is God’s will for them to prosper, HE IS NOT ENTIRELY WRONG and he is not a false teacher for that The only thing you can accuse him of is not equipping his disciples to stand in times of trial and leaving them at risk of abandoning the faith or stumbling as Jesus said in John 16:1. The only thing I believe you can accuse them of is leaving their church family with a “glass jaw”. Above all, the Word of God is our guide (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and the gospel is our only message

In Rom. 16 Paul wasn't saying to mark and avoid everybody you disagree with on any theological issue. He was clearly referring to the gospel when he said "contrary to the teaching which you learned", meaning justification by faith (Rom. 5:1; Eph. 2:8). Michael Todd affirms justification by faith, along with the other essential doctrines of the faith and therefore doesn't qualify for Paul's admonition to "mark and avoid". If you don't care for his style then don't listen, but don't call your brother a false teacher. Slander is forbidden in Scripture. (James 4:11) Jesus told us to judge with RIGHTEOUS judgment. (John 7:24)

Why aren't they willing to reciprocate?

The issue is he is teaching a false Gospel. Misusing scripture and promising health and wealth is contrary to the Gospel. Sure, he may have some things right but ultimately we still need to call these things out. I used to love Michael Todd and I think that, with sound doctrine, Transformation Church could be an incredible force for the kingdom. As of right now, however, Christians should avoid his teaching. It damaged my view of God in my own life, causing me to think I could “name it and claim it”. Galatians 1:7-9

Praise God for this video cus we are living in the times where the world is extremely dark & deceived. To those who are saying this video is wrong/unnecessary…please check out Matt 7:15-16 & 1 Tim 1:3-4. Jesus & Paul both warned others about false preachers & this video is doing just that-warning others about false preachers.
