Info further down in comments. Basically remove sd card. Create your new image. Rename image file. Re insert to carplay. Boot up and quickly eject sd card. Reinsert card. Power down and then power on and it should now be visible and uploaded to boot menu. 👍

More to the point it was the features I discovered after the install that made it the one to have in my opinion over the other 3 units I have tested for companies 👍. We have to do certain things within our videos to meet criteria for collaborations on products. Including titles and descriptions. In this case , included within one of my riding vlogs. Apart from that.. we did get snow and have todays storm to contend which I may be riding in later because I ride where othere dont 🤣. Cheers. 👍

yip, the c9 is the one for me. However, on a different note, the money you pay for a Shoei and the years they've been making them you would think they would know by now how to get a pinlock to work properly

👌. Good choice... I dont think having a camera in front of vent helps on the shoei but if they made the front vent better it wouldnt be a problem 😁.. I took pinlock off before last ride and sprayed antifog on the inside of visor before refitting pinlock. Works a lot better 😅

Hi have you tested the google voice control from a headset ?? How does it fair . ie initiate a navigation instruction from the headset comms or by using the Google voice button on the device itself again using the headset microphone . I ask as a lot of these chinese devices fail with the bluetooth connectivity . Do headsets pair to phone only and then phone to Android auto. sorry for loads of questions , but want to be sure before ordering as been through a dozen of these devices and they all fall short on comms. Great question.. you are quite correct with the fact comms can be a pain with these units.. I always have phone paired to cardo and then to android auto. Navigation turn by turn comes through clear on this unit. But speaking to it with specific commands is limited. So best to use the touchscreen for that. But the aoocchi beats the navicam and linkifun. Although the linkifun was seamless in connection as well. I dont think there is a unit that talks similar to cardo commands out there. So as long as your phone/ headset and carplay are connected for music/ podcasts/ maps etc.. thats all I need so for me.. its spot on 👍

Did it come with the mount?Or did you have to buy that separately?

It does come with a mount bracket. So will fir on different diameter bars or navbar brackets. But I fitted a ram ball to rear and used a ram mount arm onto nav bracket. This is shown on my other install vid. 👍👍

Customized Boot Logo: Image Size 1440*720 Size: no more than 50K File name: lotel_bootlogo Format: jpg Remove memory card from unit. Put in card reader to laptop etc. Choose your file/ image. Rezize to correct size and rename file. Copy and paste to s.d card. Dont have phone connected to unit.: insert the memory card in unit. power on-once the original startup screen appears, quickly remove the memory card, power off, and then restart

I made up the boot up on my editor but use whatever image you wish and use a free online file resizer tool. Save to correct size and follow the instructions. Be careful with the small screws when removing s.d card and remember to rename file 👍
