Water tree says it reduces water requirements on adjacent islands by one which is why you get -16. It then produces water based on the production on the *same* island (as the tree), not the adjacent one. Since you had nothing producing on the same island you got no water produced. At least that's how I read it. I assume you read "same island" as meaning the same one that was being discussed before, ie the adjacent one.

27:15 I did not consider it buffing other plants. You may want beans on the same island, if you need the beans resource. +100% production, +20% upkeep. 16 Beans/21 Water is a lot better then 1 Bean/5 Water. But yes, need damn solid water production. 30:52 It reduces cost in a radius, it produces locally. There is 0 plants on the trees islands. Which have 0 production. So it produces 0 water. 40:35 Bootstrap problem. Blue Wheat will not produce or even survive without power. But once you do have initial power, it will be self sustaining.

g I know that you are trying to get back into strategy games well at the same time during away from geography games. My suggestion is go back to some of the old games that went well that your audience knows a little bit of for (ex Brotato) and then from there you can go to rogue games Or you could start a stream and let the chat see what they like and then you can explore some new games that you and your friends or just you play around with and see how it does.
