Even when there are the rock paper scissors of HO/balanced/stall, unless you're that stall player, everyone just hate running into it because it's meant to stop you from interacting with the game. Same thing in other strategy game, people hate traditional white control MTG decks or hearthstone priest/mill decks. Makes the game miserable for everyone but yourself 😶

@@pearlschild In comparison to Gen 7 ph sure, but it's a good deal less stally than Gen 9. The whole power level is a good deal higher tbh. There's weather teams, popular mons like ph xern and regigigas are banned in Gen 9. Adding mirai/korai is nice but not enough.
