RallyX has been one of the most entertaining series on iRacing that needs some serious love by the team. While the community is small and niche they have been nothing but helpful to me, even when I was a rookie. The respect goes both ways in this community and I am more than thankful for the people I have met in it. We're always helping one another be that tiny bit faster and there are PLENTY of leagues that can give you a challenge and time to kill for when officials aren't doing it for you. Amazing video and thank you to all my RallyX brothers, sisters, and enby's out there that make this series so much fun!

First time trying it this morning, its so much fun! Now I'm going to have to find out how to actually drive on gravel by searching all the youtube video knowledge, nice intro video thanks! :)

Nice video, Toby. It's well put together, really informative, and your voice-over is top notch.

Great vid and thanks for highlighting an underserved part of the service. This is such a fun mix of road tactics with just the right amount of sliding rewarding lap times that I think it's beneficial to road racing as it is just plain fun.

It’s fun, but I don’t like when you have to wait for the other group to finish their race.

You can watch them.

3:07 It's a shame iRacing doesn't have British stock car racing on the service. Perfect way to use Knockhill's trioval as they have in real life Also 3:51 do not use the joker lap before your quali lap to get a faster run. I did this at Catalunya and was protested for unfair qualifying tactics

Regarding 3:51 - I would appeal that unless you went off track to gain an advantage on the run up. There is a "trick" where you can go behind the grandstands at Catalunya to get an even longer run-up which is forbidden, but the joker lap is considered a standard part of the circuit that is always permitted to use for a run up and always has been. You'll find that any lobby you do go into with higher iRating drivers use this tactic universally, and I've used it for 500+ races without a hitch.

Cost effective except me adding a shifter, hand brake and a round wheel to my shopping cart 😂

can you race rally and be somewhat competitive without an E brake? I would like to dive into this, but I do not have an E brake on the rig yet.

I actually don't have an E-Brake myself; I actually map my pedal clutch to it instead as I find that much easier. You can also map it to a button instead but using a pedal tends to give you more control over how much e-brake you apply

Definitely not necessary but it’s nice for corrections when navigating traffic and chaos lol

I use my hand brake less and less. It is good for the odd corrections though!
