It is also shown to combat the effects of aging and possibly increase lifespan. Not a supplement only for men. And declining testosterone in men, and declining estrogen in women are signs of aging. Here is an interesting article which referred to research into this. www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abn9257

Just eat the proper food like you’re supposed to and you will not need man made supplements. EDIT…. I do appreciate the information you have shared. It is very good and very important nfo

If you engage in intense physical activity then your taurine levels will become depleted both during training and during muscle recovery. If you're training natural it's sometimes necessary to use supplements. And I do eat plenty of meats, which are a good source of taurine. I'm 50 and still have the energy and vitality I had as a child, I recover quickly after training and wounds heal quickly and my hormone production is good. So my routine is working really well. And taurine is also good for slowing down the aging process it is said. But I agree that you should always try to get as many nutrients as you can from food.

@@Truthisindelible The key to that is to not be an emotional dumpster fire vegetarian or vegan. Very simple.

@@Truthisindelible Vegans are at a disadvantage. Their diet contains little or no dietary cholesterol. And dietary cholesterol is vital to the physical body. Yes we make some cholesterol but nowhere near enough. You need cholesterol for hormone production. The hormones DHEA and pregnenolone are precursors to Testosterone, a deficiency in either of these can negatively affect T levels DHEA determines how well you age physically, pregnenolone determines the efficacy of cognitive functioning, low levels of pregbenolone will result in poor memory, poor concentration, dry skin, joint pain and muscular pain and stiffness associated with age. Cholesterol is the building block for these hormones. And these hormones, along with all hormones in the body contribute towards T production. You also need cholesterol to synthesise vit D, for bile production, nutrient uptake, and fat absorption, all these factors also contribute to hormone secretion. Even the stress hormone cortisol is made from cholesterol, training is a form of good stress and this makes cortisol and training requires cholesterol. High cholesterol in the medical sense of it being bad is when you are not using up enough of it. This is why exercise is important for health. But low cholesterol is more harmful, it will lead to depleted hormone production, impaired cognitive functioning, meaning higher probability of confusion, agitation, mental sensitivity, sleep problems, anxiety and prolonged bad stress and an increased likelihood of reacting to stress in a negative way. It also increases the risk of heart attacks and strokes and a depleted sex drive. And vegans are particularly also prone to a taurine deficiency and this too has many health and wellness problems.

@@richienell Back to your original comment when it comes to vegan. They cannot get all the nutrients their body needs from foods alone. The brutal truth in their case is that they will need man made supps to compensate. I appreciate your support for my channel. Happy to be of service to you.

@@TotalEquilibrium1 Correct…. Which is a very good and simple reason that being a vegan is totally backwards and insane. An activists way of not nourishing your body

Another gem. This is one you dont hear often, but 2 to 5 GRAMS? Per day?
@TotalEquilibrium1

Yes it seems that higher amounts are optimal for testosterone. Also beneficial if you're working out. It is safe to use daily and long term and side effects are very rare. In the research they based this dosage on an 80kg man. So smaller guys 2g per day is more than enough Bigger guys might want a little more.

@@fxvictorh6445 When I ran the free book promo, the book was enrolled in amazon's KDP select program. It has to be enrolled to enable free book promos. One of the conditions is that the book must be exclusive to amazon. The book is now available on Kobo so I'm no longer eligible for KDP select. I will look into running a promo on Kobo.
