This Is Why You Should Use Salted Shrimp for Surf Fishing! (Catch More Fish!)

I was surf fishing Flagler Beach this week and the conditions were not what I expected. Very chilly and VERY windy. I couldn't cast far, but that didn't matter because the fish wanted the bait I was using. Sputnik days. Salted clam is a very durable bait that stays on the hook. Fresh crab is also premium bait when targeting black drum.

I’m not sure what you mean by the stopper. Are you meaning the floats or the synthetic bait?
