Correct title: This is why you shouldn't buy Vestel washing machines

My old washing machine (Bush WMNB712EW) tripped the electrics and then ceased to function and it was only just over 2 years old! Turns out my cousin's family had the same make and model and that developed a very similar fault also and at around the same age, to the point of it nearly causing a fire! I've reported the issue directly to Argos because that is potentially dangerous! Anyway that older machine, was noisy as anything, it washed well but was clearly a cheaply made machine The new machine I've got (a Beko model) MUCH quieter and I hope to get better longevity out of it than the Bush one... wouldn't mind but I take care of my appliances, for it to fail so prematurely and with my cousin in such a dangerous fashion is unacceptable

Interesting video. I am surprised the deal didn’t rip or come off

Pretty common in all vestel machines. There actually quite reliable machines, only two faults I've ever heard them suffer from is board failures and the counterweight falling off. Other than that there surprisingly reliable for such cheaply built machines. Still not keen on them myself, but they will outlive most Indesit/hotpoint, hoover/candy, beko etc machines.

Not in all Vestel washers, the concrete in my Vestel never fell off, I still have my Vestel and it's 5 years old, so my Vestel got no concrete falloff, no board failure, and it works normal, so it's common in some Vestel washers.

Well the washing machine is goosed, 2 years and 3 months old It is out of warranty, Argos want it to be tested to establish if it is a manufacturing defect, but no repairman will touch them because they don't have the right equipment to do so So I am unable to establish to Argos that the machine has gone faulty, due to a fault developing prematurely, also the repairman said any repairs would be ridiculously expensive or the replacement parts are simply unavailable to anyone outside the manufacturer So I'm left with a £179, 60KG pile of scrap! I will not be buying one of these again!! I am currently looking at getting a Bosch, spend more money and get a better longer lasting product

For less than £200 quid for most of the bush brand what do people expect? This is what I asked myself when my brand new bush 7kg only lasted 13/14 months and pcb went My friend had the 8kg and kept banging and making weird sounds but the suspension wasn’t broken and the drum wasn’t worn out (bad bearings) but hers was just over 24 months old so she had longer than me! Customer service was shocking to say the least! So used a mini zanussi 3kg 1301w from 2020 out of a house clearance in town for an absolute bargain price of £30 quid it was hardly used still had that new smell and stickers on it so used that till I could afford new bigger and better one 5 months later I got a LG such an improvement to the 💩 bush 🙄 Even the mini zanussi washed so much better for half the size… Still got it as a spare me and my sister shared it when ares go wrong lts well handy but wow it’s loud for a little thing lol 😂
