doggo turtle People keep saying that but I honestly don't understand the logic. If you're gonna say it's just because of the lore or the ability, then I'm gonna stop you right there. There's lots of lore in pokemon that suggest typings and abilities that pokemon do not have. The way the pokedex talks about ninetails, it should be a psychic type....or psyduck for that matter. I mean, it's literally named *psy*duck. Why isn't it a psychic type? And there are plenty of abilities that contradict pokemon typing. The whole argument that this new form has to be psychic to have an ability that cures poison status(because psychic is strong against poison) is ridiculous when you consider there are rock type pokemon with storm drain or fire types with levitate or steel types with heatproof. My issue isn't that it is a psychic type but rather they gave it a design of a fairy type pokemon, then teased it out as such, only to subvert expectations by being a type no one wanted.. A fairy/fire typing would be unique and pretty useful in competitive play. Pure psychic is not (without very strong stats) considering the amount of strong bug and ghost type moves running around. And that's not to mention all the dark moves (especially knock off and pursuit which wrecks psychic types).

I think its more of the fact that lore of unicorns are that their horns have healing properties and the ability to cure poisons. Fairy types are weak to poison so it wouldn't add up. Psychic types are strong against Poison types, which makes more sense. We really shouldn't be caught up on just the physical aspects of a pokemon alone. However, who knows, maybe Galarian Rapidash turns out to be part fairy.

Bad luck or poorly planned team against Electric/Ice attack users. I know everything is planned according to a strategy and every pokémon is there with a purpose but most of the team was indeed weak against that Black Kyurem, though.

I’d love to see a sweep with Giratina or Regigigas. Regigigas might be hard to do but in double battle I do have an idea: Have a Pokémon with drought sent out with Regigigas, switch out the Pokémon with drought with liligant with chlorophyll and the move entrainment so Regigigas Loses slow start and gains chlorophyll. Have Regigigas know power up punch and have it hold a pinch berry since it’s bulky and that’s game.

at full atk ev (with adamant or without), natural gift with ganlon berry will almost 1 hit ko landorus everytime (if you switched in your rapidash, so you didnt get intimidated) If you can guess when an enemy is going to switch out to a greninja, rapidash also has an access to megahorn or even drill run, if they anticipated your fire attack with heatran instead. One of the underrated fire pokemons for sure. edit: oh yea, natural gift with ganlon berry has 100 power and ice type phyisical attack.
