Long Long Man's actor is actually aware that the commercials are still a thing on the internet, and even here in the states, and he's super happy for it. Apparently it's kept him working nearly 7 years later, and he's even been a part of a few American productions. Also he's married to one of the announcers at the NHK, one of the bigger broadcasting channels in Japan.
@dustinrausch5008 Жыл бұрын
It's always good to see the people who were part of things that make it big on the internet actually get meaningful recognition for their part in it. As we remember from Internet Historian covering Leeroy Jenkins, that doesn't always happen.

Long Long Man is one of the best series of commercials and better than most soap operas. When I first watched it I was super invested in the story. Also the cheating with her thing was a mix between her hitting on Long Long man, fantasizing about it and what the other guy thought was going on. She never actually slept with him. Then she fakes an illness to get out of her boyfriend being mad and possibly leaving her. At least that is how I have interpreted it after the 2nd or 3rd time I watched it.

One of the most memorable happy meal toys for me was when McDonald's had Inspector Gadget. It was unique because instead of being one toy it was multiple and came in parts. You could get each piece of him like his legs, arms, torso, head, etc and put it together to build him because he was a robot. Each piece did something different. His belt was a wearable digital watch, one of his arms was a water gun, his chest could spark/light up, his hats propeller could spin and so on. I never did finish getting every piece because it was random but I believe they're sold online now. Last time I checked a full set was around $20 and a full set unopened from their package was up to like $300.
