This was so very wonderful to watch. Marty Wilde & his lovely family seem like such warm & genuine people, that I found the entire sequence so very heartfelt. I only knew of Marty Wilde because of Justin Hayward & his association with Mr. Wilde, and I can see how Marty’s influence have contributed to the success of Justin & the Moody Blues., and watching this video everyone can see how Marty Wilde has also so generously helped so many others. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful video with us all. And many blessings to Marty Wilde & his family for making this world a better place. Thank you. 🙏💗🦋🌹🎼

Look him up on Wikipedia. He has an extensive history as a rock and pop personality going as far back as 1957. Also recently released a fantastic album consisting entirely of originals called "Running Together" - the song "60's World" with Kim is one of his best ever numbers.

KZbin algorithm jad worked its magic and I've just watched his anf Kim's appearance on This Morning. Still performing, still wearing the dark glasses a few days from his 85th birthday. Wonderful. Clliff, Mick, Paul, Marty. All octogenarians. Must be the need to perform music which keeps them young. Rock on.

this so reminds me of my family born 1960 lived in a prefab nw10 london brother had a skiffle band , eventually got a gigster red glitter drum kit , and at six years old id jump in the bands CA bedford van with column gear change, i got my first ringo starr snare drum with ringo face on the batter side, my sister jane sadly stuck her foot through the skin , i would follow my brothers band they would find some where for me to sit amongst the amps in the back , The family then moved to stevenage 1969 every pub every wedding had a live band , live music was buzzing in those days then my brother bought an Ajax kit , Any way iam so pleased it paid off for you wildes, music is a Bug its hard to put it down , im so pleased you saw it through the hard times, and now due to nostalgia people want to go backwards to the past for obvious reasons , to a time when the world was a happier place , and real talent was needed to get on , so pleased youve had a supportive wife and family , and music has bounced off to other family members , you can all enjoy the fruits of your hard work and dedication, it was a lovely video you come across as a very down to earth family thats lived a life, lets face it the music business can make you poor financially but enrich you in other ways, years ago you could buy a house with the royalties now your lucky if you can afford a pair of levis jeans , life has changed dramatically for everyone including us musicians , oh well i didnt mean to write a book but again thanks enjoyed This is your life , funny enough i was saying to a friend yesterday we would sit there and the highlight was watching the golden shot how life has changed Take care

It's great to see these old shows and everybody looking so young - so many will have passed away as this episode is now nearly 40 years old. Would love to see 'Oh Boy' for the first time ever. When I wrote to TV companies in the 80s channel 4 (I think it was them) told me they had the rights to show it - but it never appeared. Roxanne is now as beautiful as Kim.
