Has there ever been a more heartwarming episode of TIYL than this one? Eric Sykes stole the show at the end - NPML

Thank you for those kind words, I really appreciate it :-) The thing is I purposely don't apply to monetize the channel or make any money at all for uploading these videos, I genuinely do it for people like yourself who enjoy TV shows from when you was growing up like I do. It doesn't take me too long to edit the videos from VHS's or other sources I get them from. As much as I would like to reach as big of an audience who wants to watch these videos, as long as there are people who want them I'll carry on doing them :-)

When he joined last of the summer wine, it was like an outbreak of Rabies in a dogs home, things deteriorated very quickly, viewers were switching off in their droves and after many complaints they ended it very quickly

How Sir Brucie didn't get a big red book tribute is a crime tbh but keep the uploads going loving the tiyl uploads
@markdaly19037 ай бұрын
Bruce Forsythe was not very well liked. i know he was regarded a professional when it came to dancing. you only got the big red book if they could find people to say nice things about the subjects. family, friends. colleagues people in the Business. it was hard to find people to say nice things about Sir Brucie. taking the big cheque to do Brucies big night left a bitter taste in a lot of mouths and then when it bombed he had few friends left.

He could be testy. There was a documentary a few years back he was in his home in Puerto Rico, he was unpleasant to one of the security guards - "do you know who I am", that sort of thing.

From time to time - watched him, he was somewhat good, but not great, but couldn’t stand the late motor mouthed Bruce Forsyth, as far too overpowering.
