Vincent was at my college in 1977 and I got to meet and talk with him. He looked at me and said in THAT voice, 'Hello, son'. He was a total class act.

This is quite an interesting programme. Because of the turmoil in his marriage, the timing of this show couldn't have been worse. Vincent had already left his wife Mary for Coral Browne while the show was being planned. In the end, Mary told Vincent about the show so that they could put on a brave public face. Normally, TIYL was cancelled if the subject ever found out they were to be the guest, but in this case, Mary & Vincent kept quiet and Vincent acted surprised when the cameras rolled. He knew all about it. A brave face from them both.

This full-length version of This is Your Life; Vincent Price was deleted from the KZbin app two times, but KZbin didn't say why they deleted it. I hope and pray that it will never be deleted from the Vincent Price Legacy channel. If so, I will have to look for a DVD of it somewhere.

Mr. Price was also in "The Nightmare" a 1975 conceptual television special showcasing the music of the "Welcome to My Nightmare" album by Alice Cooper, long before Michael Jackson's Thriller Album ever was made.
