Claus, your lessons are so interesting and so logical ! Something that you said made so much sense. Years ago a friend of mine that is a black belt in martial arts, was teaching some boys to break boards, which they were having a problem doing. He said as you said, in your mind you’re hitting the surface of the wood, but he said in his mind I am hitting through the woods past the surface ! When you get past the surface is only then that you get to the next level. Thank you so for your inspirational lessons and kindness in teaching such great lessons !!

I've wanted to play fast since 2001 :D I did the whole... trying to play a scale as fast as possible through all the six strings, starting slow and building it up, didn't work. Now I'm really getting somewhere even in my ripe old age of 37. Currently looping a few economy picking exercises. So, thank you. Somehow your program has clicked everything together for me. I also feel that my previous practicing didn't go to waste. Now all that stuff just syncs up and there's speed and accuracy.

I’ve heard at least one of your songs on the New Retro Wave channel before. Good stuff. Also, I’m 39 and started trying to get my act together speed-wise last year.

@@genesiskeglar6372 wait, you mean my project Ace Buchannon? :) If so, then thank you so much man!

@@genesiskeglar6372 and good on you getting your playing technique act together. We're close to same age. It's great to see that we can always learn. And it's not like we're 70, which is also an age where learning is possible. I've seen 70+ people getting pretty good in some video games, which is interesting.

@@Vestu Yes indeed, the Ace Buchannon stuff.

@@Vestu I’ve fallen off the wagon a bit lately because of work, but I will get back into doing the looped exercises before too long. That was always my issue. I knew all the modes of the major scale all over the fretboard, but just didn’t grasp the concept of short, looped exercises until last year.

Basically it is that you create a loopable lick from different techniques, note by note and start to loop it and loop and loop and loop and loop and loop and
