Hi :) I have come across similar issues often. I have loved filming and gaming and such, but when I made it my job it started felling differant. Like forced and not natural. I have gotten into slow moments where I talk myself out of doing content just because I feel like its been done to death in my routines. I hope its because we are to close to our stories to see them how others see them! just keep doing what you feel is right and if want or need, you can still try new things/ways also. But never compromise yourself for others enjoyment. You could read books to me while showing a wall on the screen, I would still find your personality what draws me in to your channel than random content you think of. I can go anywhere for similar content, but I choose to come to your channel because you are here. Just make sure you don't take the true you out of your channel. Keep The Strength!!

Hi John, if you want to just vlog then I believe what’s lacking is that you need to upload more + stick to an uploading schedule + have each video be centered around a story that creates excitement and intrigue for the viewer. You basically need to neistat it lol The technical side and videography, you already have that skill.

Thanks so much for the input! I agree, my upload frequency is my biggest problem and I think if I get that cleaned up, I'll be able to improve other areas like storytelling with the amount of practice I'm getting. I love that analogy haha, Casey's my idol! It's hard for me to see the whole picture at times, so getting input from your perspective is so valuable to me. Thank you!

I like this content, but it looks like most of your popular videos are review type videos. Wow, your view count on those is like 30, 16K but you don't have enough subs to be monetized. I feel like this could be me so if you figure it out let me know. In the meantime, I subbed so you're one less from monetization and I'll do what I can to help you out. Consistency, but who has time and energy for that if it's not paying?

Thanks so much Tim! Man, you might be the only person to comment the exact problem I'm facing. I've seen little glimmers of hope on KZbin, but as someone who unfortunately has to make money right now I've turned to client work and have put KZbin on the back burner. Hopefully one day I figure out how to merge the two. Really appreciate your comment and your follow 🙂
