I don't know if they tryed but the Akizuki's high velocity 100mm guns on the ground (if they developped an APHE) would have been very deadly. It fires really fast and has a high velocity for its rounds.

@@ousou78 確かに98式10cm高角砲は強力なんだけど長砲身が故に砲身寿命が短く何より軽量化して単装砲にしても戦車に乗せるには重すぎて強引に戦車に乗せても輸送船に載らないから南方の島々には投入できないし中国大陸で使おうとすると当時の劣悪なインフラについていけず軽戦車や騎兵にトラックの足を引っ張ることになると思われます

I got this tank when it was basically brand new and man, before the overpressure mechanic this thing was HELL. You would see stuff like the Lee and there was just nothing you could do about it.
