Ya soon know you've a problem that needs addressing. Got a Bluetooth camera with a monitor jobby. Got an old cb base magnet. Mounted camera on front grille gaurd. Monitor in cab. No more problems. No more burst ibc's!!!! Got rid of tractor few years ago but still have same camera and monitor, still using it and it mobile. Is used on trailers an lots of things. Great little yoke. Great vids. 👍, love them.

what two great guys you had up there. not only did they knock down your two trees (yes , I know some chain sawing was done!) and THEN they go and flatten out the stones on your drive! love the way you keep the place so clean and tidy.

Adrian, if you haven't already purchased your meal bin, go for a Vmac bin, im delivering bulk feed every day and they are by far the best made bin out there. The cheaper ones are more likely to rust in the bottom cones over time. The Vmac is also the best at self cleaning, hardly ever see stuck stuck to the sides unlike others. 👌👌 lovely job done on the yard 👏 👍

Just goes to show, a few hours and you can fair tidy up a yard (not that it’s wasn’t tidy already). Just makes life a bit easier and more comfortable on the cattle’s feet. Doing little bits at a time makes so much difference. I used to go in about farms that had decades of detritus just lying where it was left, fair gets me angry, no need for it and it frees up so much more space when it’s tidied away. Great video as always Adrian.

Little tip I once got from a truckdriver on the pallet forks, if you point ehm down when you want to adjust ehm it's easier as the weight of ehm doesn't grind to the board they're hanging from. As to camera's, they are really handy. I put one on near the left mirror, as i drive backwards half the time, monitor on my right hand, now i can look over my right shoulder and also keep a better eye on my left side without doin' some acrobatic stuff in the cab :P

Hello just looking through you tube and saw you loved the video went on your page and found a whole lot more that I have loved watching I like how you give your opinion about starting a farm it was honest and true I am not a farmer I am a 64 year old woman who lives in a village called pandy in Wrexham north wales I have lived looking over fields all my life we have had cows in the garden when I was young I had a friendship with a long horn highland cow who used to wait for me to walk across the field to school and was always there waiting for me when I finished school 58 years ago then we had foot and mouth and I lost a friend been to Ireland once many years ago loved it my husband and son love going across on their motorbikes I miss seeing cows in fields the fields are disappearing fast just so property land grabbers buy and fill the fields with houses young children will not know what fields are wild animals are like rabbits foxes hedgehogs it is sad very sad but I love you and your dogs and your work ethic with your children and it is my way look after your things as you have worked hard to get them look forward to seeing more videos hope your wife is well and looking after herself not long now please take care of her and the girls and please give Hunter and Bailey a hug and treat from me please take care and stay safe

One hundred things done right. Let's be clear on that. What stuck out is that you weren't wearing ear protection when blowing the sand and stones off the concrete. Trust me - it takes a toll over the years. I do enjoy your channel, even though I'm not a farmer, rather a simple gardener of a half-acre on the continent. 👍

Lovely clean job Adrian, fair play to ya. To be honest I would have gone with Maintenence (quarry dust) instead of 8 o 4,but that's my opinion. I'm always impressed by how clean and tidy your farm is. It's not something that I can claim either my father or my brother are particularly good at (I left farming). Those trees were definitely a worry and needed to be chopped down. I don't know about you or others, but I always felt a little sad when we would chop down certain trees (just a few particular ones), or they had died as in your case, as they were sort of significant landmarks and symbolised 'home'. There is something special about a fully grown tree. It's probably the sense of 'hiraeth' (longing) that we Welsh tend to have. A sentimental feeling that is probably best left out of running a business like farming however! Out of interest, what was the 'piping hot' temperature you were experiencing in Ireland? I ask out of curiosity as here in Japan, we have had an unusually cooler September which even instigated a 'cold temperature warning' by the Japan Meteorological Agency (lower twenties celsius). Those warnings whilst welcomed by humans are primarily intended for farmers who need to regulate temperatures of certain crops.

Diggers in my opinion are the best machine if you intend on developing your farm, you can fence with them, you can use them with a man cage for installation work, you can stack bales, dig drains, dig foundations, fill muckspreaders, lift 500k bagmanure bags. I only have a small farm to pass the times but I don’t know how I could do half of what I do without my Hitachi Ex 60.
@IFarmWeFarm3 жыл бұрын
One day we’ll definitely have one for sure

@@IFarmWeFarm they are nice to have but with the great land up in Cavan you’ll never need to dig a drain and that beauty of an 895xl with the quickie does a lot of the lifting, I know it seems like a waste of space but if you do ever get one try your best to keep it dry, if you do they will last till the end of time, and if you don’t you will get to know your mechanic very well.
