The dogs bite thousands of innocent Americans each year, including innocent bystanders, police officers, even their own handlers. According to the humane society, the most common victims of abuse are dogs. And police dogs are no exception. A report released by the State Department's Office of Inspector General, found that at least 100 American bomb-sniffing dogs have been starved and abused. Choking, punching, and slamming a trusting dog and then calling it “training” is akin to beating a child and calling it “discipline" neither is excusable! Watch how this Salisbury, North Carolina, police officer was caught on video lifting and hanging his police dog named Zuul. Slamming him against the side of a vehicle, and then punching him with force. They don't call them land sharks for nothing. There is a Belgian Melanua 19 week old puppy that is available for adoption that was already returned once to the shelter and she's not a dog for anyone. She's under the training of Luke from The Farm in Australia and I've never seen seen a more intelligent and focused dog anywhere. Luke says she anticipates his next command before he even tells her. Does she love to swim, I'd think she's half porpoise. Her name is Abra and they are looking for the perfect home for this girl but I as much as anyone hope she could stay at The Farm as Luke his whole life's dream was to work with one of these dogs. Plus her being a puppy still don't know how they will be able to part with her if the time comes. His 20 dog pack has truly helped make Abra into a much more sociable dog that's for sure.

The next dog I get, I am TRAINING it- by that I mean I’m not gonna train it to fight or be a police dog, but to just follow commands very well or ignore other dogs on walks so that I can trust it (I also may train it to be a psd for me, but probably not lol)
