Keep in mind the number of Kaiju and their fortitudes are higher than ever before. Soldiers haven’t had to study and stay sharp cuz it’s basically been a cake walk for the defense force until now.

I think The knowledge actually isnt readily available to the force, they normally brute force in to kill. Kafka has this knowledge because he disected countless of them.

I agree with you in terms that all the Defense Force Officers should learn and study the different Kaiju but I think the issue is its plot in order to give Kafka his moments to shine. Hes the only one that can kinda thing cause he worked with the clean up crew so he has years and years of disecting and discarding Kaiju. Its kinda refreshing to have a mc that isnt OP 100% of the time but having a mc that has moments to shine on both ends but being smart about how he goes about it. I hope this does change in the future. Maybe Kafka will have a little study session with the group to help elevate their strength in the future.

Kaiju no 8 is so peak. I never would have guess when i started reading this manga about two years ago that it would be this gas of an anime

I agree with you. The team should already have this knowledge. Kafka should have ended up a defense force teacher or analyst realistically. Lol I don't like that he so happens to be stronger than ALL of the other Kaiju without earning it at all. I wish he had to eat something or sacrifice something or do something sinister each time to gain the power. It's still an entertaining show but I do wish there were more higher stakes for Kafka. At this point even if they found out about him I don't fear they would kill him. The show has already shown its plot armor heavy.
