I been using mine for a good while now, and the knife pretty much impressed me right out of the box. Performance has been excellent. As usual, Kunwu knocked it out of the park. Regarding Vanadis 8, you can see it as an A11 (CPM 10V) type steel but with much higher toughness and slightly less edge retention. In fact, toughness closer to that of Vanadis 4 Extra (Cpm 4V), as it shares a similar base composition with increased Carbon and Vanadium. Just a beautiful steel to use, and I would not be surprised to see more of it in the future.

The Stiffy P is the fixed blade version of the Pulsar 👍 Vanadis 8 is a tool steel like K390.

Vanadis 8 is basically tougher CPM 10V or K390 with lower heat resistance. Excellent high wear resistance non-stainless steel.

The other clip is what you want. Its in the box. Fixed my “problem”. Much better. MUCH slimmer. Clips up nicely. Pocket it if you wish. Trim. 🤗

Vanadis 8 is a tool steel, in its properties it lies somewhere between 4V and 10V. Essentially a slightly tougher K390. With DLC it should resist corrosion well enough. Nice steel, and I say as someone who hates tool steels.

I love the way a timascus clip looks, but for a knife I’m going to carry, the clip always gets beat up, so I’ve found for me the best solution is to keep the timascus or Zircuti pieces to other parts of the knife and have a plain titanium clip, that way when it gets a few bumped into a few times it won’t be noticeable.

I’m pretty sure it comes with a pocket clip attachment for the sheath in the box I think u sat it off to the side when u unboxed it. I hope the holidays find u and urs well thanks for giving me something to watch at the in-laws 😉

Can you do a review of the cretace ares. It has almost no blade play. I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true. I can't even fit a hairs width in between the blade and the housing because they machined it so well. I couldn't believe how amazong the knife is. I bought a 2nd because my first one got stolen. This past weekend, I had a guy compare it to his hera, and he asked how he could get one. For 80 bucks, what you get is just astonishing. I would be willing to send mine to a metal complex if he wants to try it out and do an honest review.
