Now you take total amount of length (in feet) of film roll and divided by the number of potholes on your childhood street. Ex: 300 feet ÷ by 14 potholes. I just learned of this guy (Sameer Bhavnavi) because I was cast in one of his videos without any idea of what I was getting myself into. Didn't see the script until I agreed to do it, and it's just as bad as this one, stilted, expository dialog and all. (It'll probably come out in the next couple days here, I play "the criminal" and thankfully only have 3 lines in it, which I may have hammed up a bit because damn his scripts are hard to work with.) But I looked him up after shooting and am absolutely baffled by his content and its popularity. Reading his video's comments is just as weird because they're so positive, a lot of people seem to genuinely like his content. I had no idea he was a knock off of someone else! I'm looking up Dhar Mann next and going down this bizarre rabbit hole so thanks for that I guess! Also surprised this is the only Sameer criticism video I could find (so far anyway) so I appreciate your work here, I definitely needed to see some counterbalance to all the mind numbing cringe I had just put myself through. I do feel the need to note that in the final edit of this video he decided not to use the Denzel Washington deep-fake but instead includes it at the end of the video as a sort of an alternate take/gauge the audience reaction sort of thing (unless AugustTheDuck saw an earlier upload that was deleted and replaced with the original actor uncovered?) but still it is an absolutely bonkers thing to do or even consider doing. It's also worth noting he never seems to credit his actors either in the video itself or its description, I just personally found that a bit odd even though I'm pretty relieved my name won't be directly attached in anyway.
